This blog is meant to entice readers to...well, read more! And what’s more important that quantity? Quality, of course! I am librarian located in the Sunshine State that has acquired a Bachelor’s degree in History, minor in Deutsch, and a certificate in Asian Studies. With that background, what can my readers expect from this blog of book reviews? 

A similar state of random chances and hopeful serendipity.

When one imagines a librarian, many envision either a quiet, frumpy, somewhat dull individual or a seductive, harlot with a ruler. I’m here to paint a picture of reality. 

Yes, we wear cardigans. Yes, we enjoy the smell of old books. Yes, we say ‘Shhh!’ Yes, we curl up to Fifty Shade of Gray at night. 

But we are individuals with different interests. This blog is also meant to open up that world, the world of a librarian. This particular librarian, in fact. And my world involves a lot of weird shit.
