My mind wonders on the wings of desire. The musings you inspire are to numerous to name and I am chained by the pain that your absence inflicts, predictable and familiar everytime that you are far. Like clockwork it descends upon me, choking, engulfing, like water filling my lungs yet I am still breathing in, every memory, of every moment that we share letting it linger longer to bring some comfort that only your presence can provide. I close my eyes, stemming tears from making oceans keeping them focused on the moment when I get to see you again. I always look forward to when I can see you again.
