One day you’ll meet someone who makes you forget every person who didn’t value you.
Dream Sale
With the advent of the halloween season, the fated event has come to pass. My "night mind" has emerged from its stinking cavern, bent on nothing less than the economic destruction of my bougie indie games small enterprise. I wake up in the night and find myself at the computer - setting 30% sales discount from 27th Oct to 3rd November for Anthology Of The Killer on Steam, and for all of my itchio games also. Ah, it will drive me to the grave. But my loss is the gain of everyone who cares deeply about interactive media or alternatively wants something dumb to play through with their friends.
A bundle by thecatamites, $15.00 for 6 games
The complete surrealist horror-comedy series! A mysterious world of zines and blood!!
"watch out" and have fun this season of corpses.
"Don't be seduced into thinking that that which does not make a profit is without value."
~ Arthur Miller, playwright and essayist (17 Oct 1915-2005)
"This will become, in time, the ax of someone's grandfather," said the king, lifting it out. "And no doubt over the years it will need a new handle or a new blade and over the centuries the shape will change in line with fashion, but it will always be, in every detail and respect, the ax I give you today. And because it'll change with the times, it'll always be sharp. There's a grain of Truth in that, see. So nice to have met you. Do enjoy your journey home, Your Excellency."
Terry Pratchett, The Fifth Elephant
its so incredible how you make characters fit their environments so well, but still stand out. thanks for sharing your art :]
Thanks! One thing to focus on is value, the light and dark parts of a composition. Spend some time trying to figure out how you can cast light and shadow across your environment to make sure the characters stand out, either as a dark shape on a light background, or a light shape on a dark background. It makes the scenes a lot more readable.
