“i k-know you’re not stupid, lei.” unsteady words slip off the girls tongue as her hand came to grasp with the males wrist while his finger glided over her sun kissed skin. electric shivers send down her spine as she does what ever it takes not to succumb into temptation under his touch. the brunettes chocolate orbs redirect themselves to a different location to avoid eye contact, only knowing it’d be hard to resist. “love?” she questions, pulling her lip in through her bottom lip. “you’re crazy.” a quiet murmur escapes her vocals.

the smirk was there to stay planted right onto his inviting petals, the edge of his lips curving into one of the most inviting smiles. fingers trailing along the side of her neck, he found beauty within the tanned skin that seemed elicit goosebumps beneath his simple touch. “never said i was stupid, sugar.” it falls his lips in a soothing tone, it was odd how a man that was considered dangerous and unstable could sound such a way but leilani had mastered that. he was great at manipulation. “love makes you crazy..isn’t that how the saying goes?” humming with an arch of his brow, hand finally taking a hold of her chin to turn her face back towards his own. “don’t look away from me. you know i don’t like when you do that, eye contact is key, sugar.”

         leilani knew he was pushing his luck but he didn’t care, he never really did. a wicked grin grew onto his face as he pretended like he had no idea what the other had been talking about him, pushing their buttons further. it was a skill he claimed to have. finger tip tracing over the length of their jawline, brown hues practically boring into theirs with a knowing look. “what? i haven’t done anything wrong..” there he went trying to pull the innocent card that seemed to almost never work. “you’ve love me, you know it..”

∘ ✞ ☾ : REN;

not even expecting for a respond for at least another twenty-four hours, ren’s hues grew in slight shock at the new directed message from the male. quick to open it she read, a low chuckle emitting from her bare lips, digging pearly white onto the flesh while typing. ‘ that’s very sweet of you sal, thank you so much. i hope i wasn’t too heavy for you and you were right, they were so painful but i have to do it so i won’t look like a midget in the crowd of giants. ’ a light tap on the screen and her reply was on its way. browsing through the internet for random things – from foods to clothes. she then stood up, sauntering out of her room to the kitchen to grab a banana then peeling it, placing her phone on the marble counter taking a bite on the sweet fruit satisfying her growling stomach.

as the time pass by, the petite female ambled to her private studio to have time for herself writing music on her notebook as the lyrics comes to her mind with ease. pushing the prescribed glasses onto her brown hues to see what she scribbled on the paper much clearer. tucking a piece of strand hair, letting out a sigh of relief at the peace she was getting it was one of those moments she has ; just to be thankful and realize how far her career had come. clutching on her smart device once again she decided to play a couple of snippets for her new single for her fans who went ballistic on it – putting an even more immense smile on her lips.

           --- SALEM HAD FELT as if his entire body was on fire, he was incredibly sore from the event of the night before. he should be used to performing but last night he gave that specific performance way more than his all, it had been ages since he had been to an awards show and he wanted to make the come back performance something many would remember and love. he thinks he achieved that and he couldn’t be more than happy with himself, when he messes one single thing up live he beats himself up for it but last night everything went as smoothly as it could have possibly gone and that alone made his day come with ease. once he has exited the shower and gotten dressed he decided ot check his messages yet again only for the small smile to crawl back onto his features at her response. ‘ i just did what i think i would’ve liked if i was a women. you are kinda small but i like it, it makes you, you. and it’s also adorable. ‘ 

he had tried his best to not over think what he had just typed into the little text box and quickly hit send before he could chicken out. salem was never one to flirt or try his best in these types of situations but there was something about ren that had salem drawn in completely. she was such an interesting and kind soul, that resulting in the males feeling as if he could use her presences in his life more often than not.

∘ ✞ ☾ : KELSEY;

after laying under the heat of the sun and turning over her back, she had decided its time to hit the water and cool down. brown hues hidden behind the aviator glasses, eyes scanning at the tone physic of the male beside her – inappropriate thoughts clouding her mind in a blinding vision which she took upon herself to look away before she could say or do something that would embarrass her. straightening up on her previous laying position, kelsey then stood up, reaching a hand out towards jason in an inviting gesture. “ c’mon babe, i want to swim now. ” she mused, head turning onto the crystal clear ocean hearing the crashing of the waves against the shore ; giving a soothing feeling, transporting her back to the moments where she was a little girl and her family never miss a schedule to their private beach that she had grown to love, but happy moments must come to an end and its been years since she last seen the paradise – it makes her wonder if it was still as beautiful as she remembers it to be. maybe one day they could visit it and make new memories with her new found companion. there’s a point in your life that you need to go back in the past and relive it for a while just to measure if the emotions are still the same cause sometimes the past could bring a better future and this was hers.

speed walking to the shoreline where the water meets dry land, her feet submerge into the ocean a squeal of delight falling onto her lips – hand still intertwined with the male who she practically dragged across the white sand in excitement to get in the sea. sauntering deeper into the blue, she let go of the hand that was providing her comfort to dive in cooling her body from too much exposure to the heat. eyes closed, lids protecting brown hues from the salt water before coming up ; wiping her face, droplets of water still clinging and falling off her now tanned skin. the smile never deflating on her lips. “ hmm, this feel so good. ” humming in appreciation for the nature that provided them such relaxing ambiance. she would never experience this with a shower or a bath, though cuddling with jason was another alternative she is very willing to accept. scanning around the scenery, she completely forgot about the male that was a few feet away from her. basking in the warmth the sun provides and chill coming from the water she letting out a much needed sigh of relief, kelsey got on her back floating. her body submerged as her face taking in the air greedily. going under the blues once again only to come up after a few seconds behind the male. she held onto his lean legs pulling hard, knocking him off of his balance a loud laugh bursting out kelsey’s lips as she watch the male flop around. “ OH MY GOD ! ” 

          --- WATCHING KELSEY enjoy the deep blue waters was something he never thought would be so eye catching, he was completely enthralled by how her dark brown locks floated against the blue color, almost blending in all too well with the dark color. she was something new to his caramel hues, something that peaked his interest when nothing else had in a very long time. as he always says after cassie his interest had deflated and he thinks back to the time where he swears he had an encounter with her ghost, maybe in a dream or he just hallucinated the entire scene. but he remembered the love of his life telling him that one day he’d find someone else to love and to hold, he refused to believe her words then. after it all it was only after a month or so she had passed and it was much harder for him to cope with the loss then then it is now, it’s still extremely hard for him but he was learning. he’d never forget her and never stop loving her but he wanted to be happy in life and in this moment with the tanned girl enjoying the small things such as nature just like cassie would have caused a smile to tug on his face and his heart and mind to feel at ease.

and all too soon his mind was cleared and filled with panic as the salty water encased his entire body as if he had weighed nothing, coming out of the water and wiping the now clear water buds away from his face. eyes now narrowed in on the perpetrator that had just dunked his entire body under the ice cold water, it was quite the contrast from the hot weather that they had been having.  ❝ little miss kelsey, you are so going to regret that. keep an eye open is all i have to say. ❞ and he knew his words were insanely mysterious and he knew it would keep her on edge, that’s exactly what he wanted.

cassie whined softly as she felt someone shaking her, before realising who it was. the girl lifted her head, rubbing at her eyes sleepily as she furrowed her brows. “w-what’s wrong?” she asked softly, brushing his hair off his forehead before frowning and sitting up straight. “how are you feeling?” she asked gently, the concern evident in the slight pout on her lips. “i’ll get you some water..” she spoke softly, leaning down to press a kiss against his forehead before slipping off the bunk and making her way to the kitchen on the bus. 

          ❝ --- I FEEL SO a-awful. ❞ left his petals as soon as she had asked the question, his lips staying parted as raspy and deep breaths escaped from in between them. arm coming up to cover his mouth as more coughs emit from  him, brows furrowing in discomfort at the painful feeling that burned at the back of his throat as each cough left him.  ❝ i think i’ve got worse..can you get medicine too ? ❞ his voice barley above a whisper and watching her small frame exit the bunk.

cass hums as she feels his hands moving along her back, she scrunched her nose as his thumb began working at the knot in her back. she smiled at his explanation, hand gripping the blanket under her body as she hummed a little. her cheeks flushed darkly when she felt his lips on her back, biting down on her lip softly as she shakes her head. “n-no, it’s fine,” she speaks gently, glancing over her shoulder at him before laying her head back on the pillow. “i’m glad you worked out what it was, it’s been bothering me for days,” she mumbles, eyes fluttering closed for a few moments.

          ❝ --- I’M LITERALLY WORKING it out huh ? ❞ he teases quietly, his head gesturing towards his large hands that were massaging the soft skin of her back, making sure to be delicate with her. he knew that if it hurt loads when massaging a knot out then you were being too rough and he didn’t want to cause her any type of pain so he was being aware and careful with how much pressure he had been putting onto her back.  ❝ sounds weird but um..your back is pretty ? i don’t know i guess everything about you is pretty. ❞

cassandra hadn’t realised that the male beside her had been paying that much attention to her actions until his thumb gently pulled her lip from between her teeth. she swallows as she looks up at him, nodding slowly at his suggestion. “y-yeah, i probably have some at home,” she speaks softly, despite how scared he’d made her feel moments before; she didn’t feel like that now. cassie felt oddly protected and that shouldn’t be the way it goes; she knows that. he’d been following her through the woods, she should have ran the opposite way but something told her not to.  cass’ eyes dropped to his hand moving down her arm, eyes widening a little as he slipped his larger hand between his; biting down on her bottom lip once more before she adjusted her hand slightly and allowed herself to hold his. it felt better than just having her hand limply with his. the girl hummed a little as she began to lead the way, gaze occasionally flickering to the male’s profile.

          --- ONE THING ABOUT jason was that he was an observant person, his mind had always told him to look deeper into a person’s actions and that will allow him to know how they’re feeling and what they’re thinking. it was a gift in his opinion, to be able to read people so easily. it helped him know if he was getting to the places he wanted to be or venturing too far but in some cases that’s exactly what he wanted to do.  ❝ good, you could use it. i don’t want your lips hurting more and more from being chapped. ❞

he knew that his hand in her own had thrown her completely off guard but he hadn’t mentioned to her in the slightest. he just wanted to make sure that she was comfortable enough with him holding her hand, to him it was an easier way to guide him in the right directions when he dazes off. which it hardly happened but there are times where it does happen. jason had felt her eyes zero in on his features and he hadn’t minded much, he just let her stare.  ❝ what’re you doing out this late ? ❞

cass furrowed her eyebrows at the smirk on his face, huffing a little as he spoke. “i am not!” she whines, arms staying crossed over her chest as he speaks to her. the girl bites down on her bottom lip, eyes wide as she stares at him. she shuffles herself onto his lap, wrapping her arms around his neck and leaning against him. “good,” the girl giggles, sticking her tongue out at him.

           ❝ --- YOU SO ARE, admit it, cass ! i can tell. you get all huffy and you try to ignore me but it always fails because you just love me so much. ❞ he taunts her teasingly, his arms quick to ravel around her small waist and pull her closer to his own body. as soon as she stuck her tongue out he had done the same only to lick her tongue jokingly in an attempt to get an reaction.

cassie sat on the edge of the bed, running her hands through her hair as she took a deep breath. she knew that it was overdramatic to be so upset about jase kissing another girl when she was the one that ended things but she couldn’t help the fact that she still had feelings for him. and that much was obvious to everybody that was around her when she saw him. the girl sat in the room, eyes lifting when the door opened; she half-expected it to be jase but it wasn’t.  the girl smiled weakly, shuffling back slightly and swallowing. 

          --- RUNNING HIS HANDS through his hair in a stressful manner and practically marching off into his room, slamming the door behind him as soon as he had entered the room. pacing around with his jaw still clenched and in that moment he doesn’t think he has felt so much anger, all he wanted was to have the small girl back in arms and there was one thing stopping them. her dirt bag boyfriend and he couldn’t stand the thought of him ever laying his ugly hands on her the way he had used to, that thought alone caused the jealous side of him come out in full force.

“You’re right.” Raina laughed as she got comfortable with her lover. “ How could I ever survive this terrible snow storm without you?” Her fingers trailed up his sweat shirt, gently tugging him closer to her. “How will you amuse me Jax? A game? Or just by being your adorable self?” Her lips were centimeters from his own. “ Just imagine if you were stuck alone, how would you keep warm since body heat is the best method.”

          ❝ --- I USUALLY AM right, princess. ❞ the smirk stayed settled onto his features, head tilted to the side adding onto the puppy dog looked he was attempting to pull off. jase knew that she was teasing him and he was trying his best to remain calm as stick through it, he wanted to be the one that would break her first.  ❝ probably by just being my adorable self, i heard that it’s the best way to cure boredom. ❞ pearly whites sinking down into his fleshy lower lip.  ❝i’d probably stay warm with a fire and a bunch of blankets, clothes. you know -- things a normal human uses to stay warm. ❞

monroe can’t help but blush in this situation. she doesn’t say much though she just nods and takes his hand “c'mon don’t want to be late for advanced microeconomics now do we?“ she says shyly tucking a piece of hair behind her ear. she’s rarely left feeling shy or speechless but felix can get that reaction out of her and she really can’t tell if it’s something she likes or not. but she doesn’t over think it too much. she went to the garage that had at least 15 luxury cars. she immediately went to the cherry red tesla. “wanna drive?” she questions taking the keys from the holder. “i mean how crazy would that be, you get the so called hottest girl in school — the hot car. you might actually get girls and guys kissing your feet.” she laughs, “but if you don’t want to drive that’s totally fine too. but just a little warning when it comes to me and my sports cars i tend to race.” she winks. 

❝ --- IT’S LIKE YOU speak my language ! ❞ he jokes as soon as the words leave her petals, intertwining their fingers as if it was done a million times and the thought leaving his mind. his eyes growing large at all the luxury cars that were parked within her large garage, lips parting in pure amazement and as soon as she offered him to drive he knew his answer was already made up. ❝ hell yeah i’ll drive ! only for my own pleasure they can all kiss some hairy nuts, i don’t want to be a part of anyone that’s done me wrong. ❞ eagerly awaiting for her to hand over the keys with a fond smile on his face at the new found information.  ❝ and you think i wont race either ? i’m a good driver though, don’t worry. enjoy the thrill of it. ❞

mia stays silent as he speaks about his first love. when he’s done, she takes a deep breath and remains silent. what was she suppose to say to that? so she stays completely quiet through everything he says — no matter how irritating he gets — she stays quiet. she wasn’t going to let herself get caught up with his stories that touched what she assumed to be her ice cold heart. normally, when she was out doing these jobs it was easy for her to pretend to be emotionally connected but with jason he’d gone through too much  — too much heavy shit. she didn’t pity him though, in fact she found him strong. and that’s why she knew she couldn’t say anything. so she nods a few times but remains completely silent until he’s putting her down. 

“so what happens now? you’re obviously not going to kill me, you would’ve done it already if you were” she chuckles looking around. she knew he wasn’t stupid. she could tell he didn’t live in this exact apartment but maybe he was just someone who was extremely sentimental, she looks around and it looks like the place hadn’t been lived in years — or maybe he wasn’t very clean. either way she figures this can’t be his actual residence, and he’s smart not to take her there. “nice place though” she says looking around. “after our amazing heart to heart, i do think i earn some level of being apart of your operation ” she raises a brow, “unless you were gonna keep me locked up in here” she shrugs walking further into the apartment and plopping down on the couch. 

          --- JASON HADN’T EXPECTED her to say anything, he knew the tragedies that filled his life were a lot to take in at times and he just threw two of them on her shoulders and surprisingly she took them well. most people would try to comfort him after they found out those sad pieces of information but he didn’t want to be comforted, he was already healing as best as he could from those events. they impacted him in ways he couldn’t ever explain and were shaping him into the man he had became today. 

❝ what happens now ? no, i don’t plan on killing you. i try to refrain from harming women, courtesy to my father for that one. second you haven’t done something to make me go all vigilante on you. ❞ he admits, strolling into the unlived in apartment and his finger trailing along one of the picture frames to collect the dust onto his finger causing his nose to scrunch up in disapproval and wiping his hand on his pants due to that being the only thing there.  ❝thanks, i know you aren’t stupid enough to think i live here because it’s obvious i don’t. i just can’t trust you with my real home information so here was the next best option to take a little killing machine like you. ❞ his tone nothing short of calm and collected, hues finally darting to meet her own.  ❝what makes you think i’ll actually let you in on my operation ? and you know that whole kidnapping deal isn’t my style, i’d deal with you in a different way. ❞

“and i expected you to get all cocky on me. you’re the shit, aren’t you?” she questioned with the quirk of her brow. she chewed her lesser lip, gripping his bicep at his words. “you wanna remind me of those things when we get inside?” she hummed, cocking her head to the side and nodding over to his front door. she allowed the lust to show on her features as he teased her with his touch. “to an extent? jason, you have a tough ass time admitting i’m right don’t you?” she inquired, quirking a brow. “besides, i think i would have a wonderful time if you were nice to me for a whole day. maybe we should try it to test our hypotheses,” she shrugged. “the biggest lie of your life, huh? and how would you like it if i was an actual bitch to you? you’d miss the nice old me,” she giggled, giving him a playful nudge. she looked up at his beautiful smile, her breath catching in her throat. it was moments like those that she realized it wasn’t often that he allowed her to see him in his full beauty. it was also moments like those where she got lost completely in him and couldn’t pull herself out. “well no one said, i just assumed since you weren’t kissing me already. like i said, i’m surprised you haven’t––” she was cut off by his hands at her thighs. she stopped speaking, her mental process freezing completely until the only think she knew to do was to wrap her legs around the male’s waist. she pressed her forehead against his and smiled. “show me all the things you can do for me that those frat boys can’t.” she smirked, stealing a kiss.

      ❝ --- WELL I SUPPOSE some people do think i am the shit so i guess that does make me the shit, huh ? ❞ his thumbs working against the warm skin of her tanned thighs, wasting no time in walking into the warmth of his home that they both had previously stormed out of in a heap of anger.  ❝ it’s hard for me to admit that you’re right when you aren’t right, princess. ❞ and he knew that answer would hopefully get a reaction out of her just like he always loved, it was something about pissing somebody off that made him giggle without thinking about it.  ❝ if this is you being nice i don’t even want to encounter the bitch side because i’d have a noose ready to go like a brand new necklace. also maybe i’ll be nice to you for a whole day, i’ll have to check my schedule though.  ❞ he jokes quietly and he knew that the joke was a bit morbid but everything about himself was morbid in most lights, it just depended on what switch you decided to flick. leaning in to plant a soft kiss onto the exposed skin of her neck, he noticed her freeze of speaking but didn’t want to mention it, letting it slide before a smile curved his plump lips yet again.  ❝ didn’t even have to tell me twice, sugar. ❞
