Do you prog on aether or do you try to tough it out on crystal? Also what are your hottest takes on ffxiv and what bad habits are you guilty of in game rotationally or any other way you can think of?

I do Crystal for day one, but swap to Aether afterward. Unfortunately that's the trend for PF raiding if you want to prog as much as I do week one, really wish they could do cross datacenter PF or something...

I've tried toughing it out on Crystal in previous tiers but there's just not enough bodies to fill in a reasonable amount of time cause most go to Aether. I remember in Endwalker someone joining our PF on Crystal just to say to go to Aether if we wanted to prog and left immediately lol

Idk if it's a hot take anymore, but I actually really liked Stormblood. Slight bias since it was the first expansion I did right when it released, so I've got fond memories of all the things that happened on launch. Like queuing for Raubahn EX lmao

I've got a bad habit on DRG of trying to weave too many things at once at times and clipping my GCDs.
