Britt curled up like a turtle going into their shell and placed her head on top of Dylan’s shoulders as he looked at the cake magazine. “We could do both. Cake for the big kids and cupcakes for the little kids.” She offered laughing a little at his excitement over cake. “Are we still going to have it here or did we decide to move it?” She asked looking around her small house she had baby proofed a few months back.
Glancing over at her he nodded his head, "Both would be nice and easier to clean. Most kids will be wanting to be on the go anyways so having the cake in the wrappers will be helpful." Twisting his body around he turns so he is know able to properly hold Britt and look at the magazine. "Your house is big enough to have a shower and it's not like we are actually throwing a legit party just a calm get together for the baby. And most of it will be family"

Dylan cuddled up to the pillow while he grabbed a random catalog and started to flip through it. “This could be our cake.” Pointing out a picture of a cake shaped as a diaper covered with fondue. “Wait or do we want cupcakes that are shaped as mini diapers? Those would be so cute.” He said gushing over the designs and showing them to his girlfriend.

“Okay how about this, I take you to the baby store and drop you off. Stay in the store, but let you wander around without any input unless you are about to do something illegal.”
“Close enough, but don't become that clingy mother that hovers over every little thing I look at.”

“That was nice of you to think that way. Maybe next time I could go so you won’t get in trouble.”
“But then it wouldn't be like a surprise and it would be more like a shopping trip instead of like present shopping which is a lot more fun, Britt. ”

“You do know we won’t be using a pacifier until the baby is at least a month old so we have some time until we need to be worrying about them. And who let you loose in a baby store?”
“Oh well I didn't know that and I just stopped at a random one on my way home. Thought some baby stuff might be cute since you are seven months and all. ”
“So apparently going into a baby store and trying out all the pacifiers is against the stores “code of conduct”. Like excuse me for not wanting my child to have a hard nipple to suck on.”
