New blog?

Okay friendos, I may be making a new agere blog. It would be to replace this one but for a few (imo, good) reasons, this one would stay up as an archive bc I had good times here. I would let you know when I switch so y'all can ask for my new blog (if you want to) and feel free to unfollow this one at that time. Reasons below, scroll on if you don't care.

During my inactive periods a bunch of creeps have slipped through the cracks and (although I do not post discourse so y'all don't know) I have had to argue with a few of them about removing reblogs and to stop interacting with the agere community. I am getting tired of it and can't be bothered trying to weed them out/block/report them.

I started the blog about 4 years ago not being used to all the terms the agere side of tumblr used and the blog (and me) being a mess. I would like a fresh start.

My breakup has been really hard on me and this blog sometimes serves as a reminder. I've had a couple people asking me about it (that's okay, one or two were just asking me if I was okay) or throwing it in my face (not okay, they were meanies and very much outliers to all you lovely people and they have been blocked and reported, and not just for the messages but blog content also).

I'm getting tired of the hate I get for being apart of the cglre community and the discourse around it. Where I know the community is 100% safe for minors the amount of people who disagree is taking it's toll esp when they try and make it my problem. While I understand where this confusion comes from and the start of the community was questionable it has evolved and I'm sick of people not understanding this.

On that note, I will be taking a step away from cglre although I still support it and find nothing wrong with it. At this point in time I am planning on going noncom although I will allow interaction from all sfw agere groups.

Update:

Currently in the process of making a new blog. This one will stay public for a while but I hopefully plan to fully migrate over to that one. I will continue to update y'all on what's happening.
