As always, Angels Share was filled with people, everyone was drinking after a hard day of work while enjoying the performance of the bard. The Chivalry Captain scanned the room in hopes of finding his prey. Tonight he had the chance to finally take you, since Diluc wasn’t present for the night. No-one was there to stop him, he made sure of that. The red haired man always stood between you and him. You were too naive, you put too much trust in Kaeya, not that he’d complain. Simply put, he had you wrapped around his finger and he wouldn’t want it any other way.

His frozen heart skipped a beat when he saw you entering the tavern. You were right on time, as usual, but it was obvious you were out of breath and he knew something - or someone - has taken away a bit of your time on your way here. He shrugged it off, you’ll soon be his so he has nothing to worry about. The blue haired man waved at you, signaling you where he was seated. As you made your way towards your old friend he ordered you your usual drink.

“Long time no see, missed me?” he raised a brow, earning a chuckle.

“Yes, 5 hours is truly a long time Captain-”

“Could you blame me for wanting to spend more time with you? It is your last day in Mondstadt, isn’t it? Look at you, all grown up, ready to leave everything and everyone behind simply to travel! Are you sure you’ll make it on your own? The furthest away from Mondstadt you’ve been was Springvale! There are dangerous monsters out there and-!”

“Kaeya, I know! It’s the third time we’re having this conversation! I’ve said it twice and I’ll say it again, you won’t change my mind!”. With a sigh of defeat, the man in front of you smiled sadly while the waiter placed your drinks on the table.

“Let us have our one last drink then,” he grabbed his drink, raising the glass a bit before taking a sip. The rest of the night was spent on pleasant conversations, about your shared memories, about your plans for the future and some more talking about the days the two of you have spent together. The nice atmosphere was shattered when you started feeling dizzy and somewhat sleepy, it was weird considering that you haven’t drunk that much. Breathing became more difficult before everything was consumed by darkness and the last thing you heard was Kaeyas panicked voice.

You woke up in an unfamiliar room, any additional layer of clothing, like vests or coats were neatly placed on a small table, with your shoes standing next to the said piece of furniture. You felt something cold, wet and heavy resting on your forehead. As you were about to reach out to grab the object the door to the small room opened.

“You’re finally awake! Thought we lost you there for a second…” Kaeya chuckled as he placed a tray with a warm homemade dish on the nightstand, before grabbing the wet cloth that was placed on your forehead, replacing it with his cold hand. “It seems your temperature has dropped a bit, good.” He pulled his hand away before dunking the cloth in a bowl filled with cold water and placing it back on your forehead.

Days have seemed to blend together as each day was basically the same; wake up, have breakfast with Kaeya, sleep, have dinner with Kaeya while you listen to him talk about what’s happening in the outside world, rest in bed, eat supper with Kaeya and go back to sleep. After weeks of you constantly slowly getting better, and suddenly feeling worse than before, you managed to slip and twist your ankle. Thankfully, the man that has been taking care of you knew how to take care of your ankle. Weeks turned into months, but you never managed to fully recover. You started thinking it’s some sort of a curse or a new weird kind of disease. Asking Kaeya to bring Barbara or any other healer to his house ended up the same as always, with him telling you that they’re busy with something, and each time the excuse was something different but it never seemed really that important.

One day, while Kaeya was fulfilling his Knightly duties, you decided to simply look around since, for the first time in months, you had some energy to spare. After snooping around in the kitchen you accidentally stumbled upon a glass vial filled less than halfway with a glowing purple liquid. It was hard to obtain as it was placed on the highest shelf on the far back of the cupboard, next to some other vials, all of them filled with glowing liquids, most of them seemed unopened yet but there were two vials filled nearly halfway, one with a red glowing liquid and an another one with a blue one. It was like nothing that you’ve ever seen before, you decided to reach for and open the purple vile to at least smell it. The smell felt strangely familiar, it made your head a bit dizzy and sleepy. You quickly placed the vial back to it’s original place once you’ve heard the door unlock. “You’re… up?” Kaeya sounded surprised, if not a bit upset, as he slowly made his way towards you. You nodded, claiming to simply be hungry, earning a chuckle from the young man. The blue haired male placed the groceries on the kitchen counter before he started to unpack the bags, filled with fresh ingredients that were meant for dinner. You watched him prepare the food, sometimes handing him certain ingredients before you went to set the table for dinner. Once the plate was presented in front of you, with an amazing looking dish that you were ready to your utensils in you noticed a familiar scent that you usually used to ignore, and to not raise suspicion you decided to eat the meal. As always the two of you talked for a bit while Kaeya cleaned the dishes, and as always you got unbearably sleepy after. You bid your c̵̺̩͛̋̓ą̴̯͚̀͑p̵̲̀̚t̷̖̝̻͐͆̀o̷̥͗̀̔r̸͈̈́͑ friend farewell before you made your way to your bedroom.

The next day during breakfast you realized that the strange scent was a bit stronger than usual, and after a while you started feeling sleepier than you normally would after eating. Deciding you have nothing to loose, you rushed to the bathroom and shoving two fingers down your throat before puking out the meal Kaeya prepared for you. A shiver ran down your spine as you saw your own vomit. It was purple. After that incident you tried to avoid eating things that your friend prepared for you, on certain days you managed to get your hands on some food that wasn’t tampered with and on other days you went on without food at all, emptying your stomach in the bathroom.

Everything was as well as it could be considering your situation, until during one of the meals, the food tasted strange, your body felt as if it was on fire, your nether regions were tingling. You excused myself, claiming that you felt sick. You needed to go to the bathroom, get rid of the strange poison from out of your system, but much to your dismay Kaeya was immediately by your side, his arm tightly wrapped around your waist, his cold hands causing pleasant shivers throughout your entire body. Your protests were dismissed as Kaeya guided you towards your room.

“Don’t worry, I’ll take good care of you…” he purred softly as he pushed you onto the bed. Your body started feeling heavy, the world around you started to spin as he took off your pants, your protests falling onto deaf ears. As the cool air caressed your shivering bare skin, Kaeyas cold hands kneaded your ass, his thumbs spreading your tingling hole. “Seems the potion is starting to work…” he mused, and you could hear the smirk on his face. Your eyes started to tear up as you couldn’t move a muscle, unable to fight back against what was to come. His fingertips felt like icicles as they circled your entrance, teasing it with ghostly touches. “You look so pretty when you’re about to cry,” he purred as he leaned up, his breath fanning my ear. “Come on, let it all out…” he pleaded whilst two of his digits forced their way inside of you. You couldn’t make out the words he was mumbling against your skin, each breath causing you to shudder. He kept the pace slow, gentle even, and as you neared your peak you were met with emptiness when he withdrew his fingers. “Now, I think you’re ready for me-”

“Don’t.” You managed to croak out, which caused the Knight to raise his brows, clearly taken back by your sudden response.

“What?”

“Don’t.”

“Oh, (Y/N), you poor thing,” he cooed, running his clean fingers through your hair. “You really think you have any power? I know you want it. You crave it. You just don’t know it. I want it,” he tugged your hair, forcing you to look at him, “your body wants it. Just let it happen, it’ll be the best for us. I know what’s best for us, for you-”

“You don’t-…!” Your protest turned into a moan as he forced his tip inside of you, cursing at your tightness.

“Archons, the way you wrap around me is so perfect…” Kaeya groaned as he pushed himself deeper inside of you. I still remember those days we shared in the academy, how you stopped that one class when you found out the spell we were to practice would harm an animal, even if it was seen as a mere vermin. How you cared for everything that even for a moment breathed with life…

Nihil - the place between realms, a place where time does not exist, the home of Veritas, an academy for everyone that desires to know the true potential of their souls. No matter what race you were, if you reached adulthood according to your kin, you had the chance of becoming a student.

The break was over and we all returned to the academy, it felt forever since I saw my friends. After finishing my class, I made my way towards the cafeteria, where I could spot the familiar faces. Diallo, Elinor, Kareem and Jonathan all sitting together. Diallo appeared to be talking about something, casually draped over his chair, while the dark-skinned girl with antlers listened intently as always . The blue-scaled man on the other hand was resting his head on one of his hands, the claws of his free hand were tapping on the table out of boredom as all four of Kareem’s golden eyes had trouble staying open, and Jonathan didn’t even bother pretending to listen to the brown-haired mans rambling, focusing entirely on his book.

“And you’re reading, as always.” I sighed as I sat next to the long haired man.

“When isn’t he?” Kareem rolled his eyes. “You’re going to ruin your eyes sooner or later.”

“Not if I’ll manage to create a spell that would prevent that.” Jonathan answered, not bothering to take his eyes off of the old pages.

“You? Create a spell? How?” Diallo snickered, stopping his own rant to butt into the conversation.

“I mean, sigils can create anything, can’t they?-”

“Don’t even talk about them!” Kareem hissed as his finned tail clasped itself over Jonathan’s mouth. The Italian simply gently moved the fin away from his mouth. “We’ll get in trouble because of you!”

Jonathan finally looked up from his book, his brows furrowing softly as he closed the tome, carefully placing it on the table. I sighed as I knew what was going to happen next.

“Why in the Heavens can’t we talk about them? Why can’t we learn about them?” Kareem was about to respond, but Jonathan cut him off quickly. “I’m aware that they’re powerful, and that in bad hands they could lead to a catastrophe, but that is the case for all of the magic!-”

“But all magic has a price! Veinbending, necromancy, even alchemic runes! Sigils are the only type of magic that doesn’t have any price, any limits! They’re dangerous!-”

“Yet Professor Cruthaichear knows everything about them!-”

“Yes, but only so he can teach us how to protect ourselves from them!-”

“But why can’t healers be taught the secrets of their creation?! How many problems, how many diseases we could cure if we had access to them?!-”

“And how many diseases could be created if we had access to them?!”

Silence fell onto the table as Kareem and Jonathan glared at each other, the blond haired mans eyes watered, as always when he was angry. The draconic man was about to say something, but Jonathan got up and quickly walked away from the table. Elinor was about to get up and follow him, but I rose my hand, stopping her, before I myself got up and followed the Italian man as quickly as I could.

It was hard chasing after him, he had this ability to disappear into the crowd with ease, but I quickly found him in a dark and empty corridor, curled up on the windowsill of the giant window. He didn’t seem to notice me, too deep in his own thoughts as his teary eyes stared at the pouring rain.

I sat next to him, shivering at how cold the stone was, before gently placing one of my hands on top of his. Jonathan looked up at me with his soft blue eyes, holding my hand tightly.

“Why must there be evil? Why must the world be so cruel? What did we do to have to suffer like this?” He whispered “Why are the sick and weak forced to do the tyrants bidding? Why can’t we help them?” I couldn’t make sense out of his words, but I didn’t need to. Without a word I wrapped my arms around him, pulling him as close as possible, as he started to sob, clutching onto my shirt as if his life depended on it.

I held him tightly, combing my fingers through his golden hair as he cried quietly into my shoulder, oblivious to the occasional student who gave us strange looks as they passed by. It wasn’t the first time I had to comfort him outside of the privacy of our dorms, he was a gentle man, sometimes too delicate for his own good. It was easy to break him, but he was especially fragile after the breaks. We stayed like that for a long time, before he finally pulled away, wiping away the tears with the white sleeve of his button up.

“Darling, please, tell me whats going on…” I begged softly, still holding onto his hand.

“I… my mother, she is sick…” He whispered, his voice was barely audible as he looked away in shame. “Father won’t allow her to see a doctor, insisting she stays and takes care of our home, so I tried to explain her symptoms to the doctors, but none of them even know what illness she has… I don’t want her to die, but with no possible cure she…”

We sat once again in silence, neither of us knowing what to say.

Being a part of the Underground Society of Immortals had its perks. You got a new life every few decades, they help you with moving, they help you keep the secret easier. Unfortunately, you did not always get to choose your new life.

I was making my way to the theatre, where a strange death had occurred, and as a detective hired for the case, I had to look into it.

I entered through the door, explaining the situation to the staff before they took me to the head of the house.

My heart dropped as I entered the dimly lit room where a familiar figure sat, swirling a dark red liquid in a glass meant for wine. He was talking to some girl, who was standing on her tiptoes and looked as if she was on the verge of tears. It was obvious that she wouldn’t stand on her heels, not like she could with the way the bandages were tightly wrapped around her feet, merging them with the ballet shoes. Jonathan’s piercing blue eyes darted towards me in a near instant as he heard me entering through the door.

“…and who do my eyes have the pleasure of seeing, (Y/N)?” With a dismissive flick of his wrist, the ballerina scurried out of the room. His face hasn’t changed a bit, his golden locks were taken care of as always. Although he looked exactly like all those centuries ago, something was off. Something sinister…

“Are you the owner of the theatre?”

“I am indeed. I presume you’re the one leading the case regarding the sudden disappearance of one of my actors?”

“We believe that they were murdered-”

“Murder? In my theatre? I know my actors-” Jonathan scoffed, before taking a sip of the wine. “They’re a bunch of incompetent, defenseless, spineless cowards who can’t slap each other for a scene! You think that they would be capable of taking someone’s life?! Don’t make me laugh, and don’t get me started on the rest of the staff.”

“Would it be possible for someone from the outside-?”

“No. Everyone knows everyone here, I have eyes all over this place.”

“Yet the main lead of your newest play vanished into thin air overnight!”

“That means they were unworthy of being placed between the walls of my house of art in the first place.”

“Unworthy?!-”

“Unworthy. Useless. Pathetic. Disposable. You should remember that I never liked it when there was an obstacle between me and the epitome of perfection in art.”

“An obstacle?! Jonathan, we’re talking about a human being here!”

The screenwriter looked at me with disdain as he placed the glass chalice onto his desk. He slowly stalked towards the bookshelf, running his fingers through the spines of the leather bindings.

“They all agreed to it.” He stated, his voice suddenly lacking any kind of emotions as he seemingly studied the titles of the books.

“They agreed to what?”

“Before anyone decides to join my theatre, they are all given a contract and a lawyer-” The golden haired man grabbed one of the books, throwing it aggressively into the fireplace near his desk, before calmly making his way behind me. “They’re given a week to study all of the pages and search for any fine print they think they could find before they sign it…” Click. After he locked the door, I felt his hands on my shoulders, his breath that reeked of wine caressed my ear with his every word. “But they never find it. They never do. They’re all just a bunch of hopeful fools.-” I turned around, summoning a flame in my hand as I was ready to strike him. Before I knew it I was pinned to the wall as scorching pain pierced through my wrists. I looked up, and I could see the glimpse of golden vines that slithered under my skin, causing droplets of blood to run down my arms and stain Jonathan’s palms. One wrong move and I could either lose all of my magic, or worse - my life. “Do you know what the best part is? Once they sign up, they lose all of their autonomy. I am the one who decides who goes on stage, who creates the costumes, who do they live as and who are they remembered as when they die. I am their God.”

Now before me stood a monster with the face of a man. Those gentle hands that used to create life, only seem to be able to destroy it…

I walked around the courtyard, I was nothing but a humble servant that was supposed to keep their head down. It was an honor to serve the family of ancient dragons that ruled over my village. I was meant to be asleep, but I couldn’t. The bright moon did not allow my eyes to rest. I made my way towards the garden, only to meet the young son of my masters. Chǐ Rǔ. The only Jade Dragon born in a family whose blood was golden, just like the scales on their arms. The young man in front of me had beautiful scales that looked like emeralds, covering his shoulders and arms that he was forced to cover at all times. Now there was no one but him, the moon, and me.

“Training again, young m-”

“You know that I don’t like it when you call me that.” The short haired man cut me off as he continued to stay still in a handstand.

“But-”

“No. You and I do the same chores, we eat the same meals. We are equals (Y/N), no matter my status or blood.”

“What if you take your fathers place?”

“If? I am his one and only male heir, of course I’m going to take his place someday. In dire times, a drowning man is willing to hold onto a blade in the hopes of staying afloat, and I was drowning. Drowning in the sea of debt. I felt like a lamb that was being led into a slaughterhouse as two men escorted me to their bosses office. I was in desperate need of money, desperate enough to take a loan from the most feared criminal lord known in the city.

“Great Dragon, your client has arrived.” One of the men announced after he knocked on the enormous and heavy wooden doors. The pattern carved into the entrance depicted two dragons, something about it felt familiar.

As I entered the room the strong smell of tobacco burned my nose, strange green smoke filled the spacious yet dark office. A long-haired man in a purple suit sat at the big, heavy desk that was made in a similar style as the door and the rest of the furniture in the room. His muscular and tall build explained the strangely big doors inside of the establishment. I was unsure if the sickly pale green tint on his skin was caused by the bad lighting, the smoke, or some strange disease the intimidating man might’ve had, but the thing that caught my attention the most were the green slanted eyes that seemed to glow a bit, but I brushed it off as my imagination. Millennia ago the last dragon clan was slaughtered, there were no survivors.

The mob boss waved his hand dismissively, before he took the thick cigar from between his lips. The two men that brought me to the office walked out without a word, closing the door behind them and leaving the two of us alone. Unsure of what to do, I stood still.

“Greetings, Great Dragon, I-”

“Georgie. Call me Georgie.” The man cut me off, his voice was smooth and surprisingly deep. “Sit.” He ordered, his voice suddenly turning stern as he used the cigar to point at the sofa in front of his desk. Not daring to anger the criminal, I sat down. He on the other hand stood up, approaching a cabinet. I heard the clinking of glass before watching him pour a clear liquid into the glass, and placing it on the small tea table in front of me, I could smell the familiar scent of overripe fruit. He sat back down, a matching drink in his hand. Before I could thank him, he asked me a question. “What brings you here?”

“I’ve gotten myself into a really bad debt, I don’t have the money and I need to pay it back soon. I was wondering if it would be possible for me to get a loan-”

“How much money do you need?” Apparently being a crime lord allows you to constantly cut people off. After I told him how much I needed, he looked at me as if I just told him some stupid, dry pun. “That can be arranged.”

“Until when will I have to pay you back?”

“You won’t.” He replied calmly, and my anxiety immediately spiked up.

“Then… Then how should I repay you?” I asked, trying to cover the concern in my voice.

“You won’t. I am the one paying off an old debt. After all… A dragon never forgets its treasures…”

“My, my… look who’s crawling back like some pathetic dog…” Raven taunted, a smug smirk painted on his snow white face as he leaned against the door frame. I had a rough day already, and having my ex degrade me as a greeting didn’t make it better. I had gotten into an argument with my now ex-friend, which resulted in me getting kicked out of our shared apartment this very morning. How awful of them. Unfortunately, the closest person I could turn to to stay for some time was Raven. Under normal circumstances, I wouldn’t even think of sparing the junkie a glance, but with no money and no friends, I was forced to stay at his place.

“Just shut up and let me in.” I forced myself past the anorexic man, entering the small studio apartment. It was dark, cold and reeked of cigarettes, blood and other bodily fluids I’d rather not think of. In other words - nothing changed.

As I placed my bag next to the big bed, Raven closed the door, making sure to lock all of the locks. Part of me though he was just paranoid, but the other half knew the dangers of this part of the city.

“So, doll, are you going to tell me about your woes? Or will I get the silent treatment?” He asked as he leaned against the counter grabbing a bottle of alcohol from the fridge. He opened the bottle and forced it into my hand before grabbing another bottle. “Who am I kidding? You won’t be giving me the silent treatment forever, so might as well spill it out now and get over it quicker, eh?”

He collapsed onto the messy bed next to me, taking a swig as his gray eyes observed my every move like a predator, a faint smirk tugged at the corner of his lips. I let out a deep sigh, realizing that the man was right. I looked at the bottle, bracing myself for the conversation.

After the first sip, everything became a blur…

The hazy cloud before my eyes slowly started to clear, pain started to fill my body like absinthe fills a glass, diluted by a small block of sugar. My muscles ached, yet they were numb at the same time. I was unable to move, my mouth slightly agape as I took slow, shallow breaths, waiting for my eyes to adjust to the darkness. I could hear the blood rushing through my veins, his voice sounded as if I was underwater. Wait, his voice? He was whispering something, but I couldn’t hear it. Ever so slowly, my senses came back to me. I could feel his hard ribcage pressed against my back, his skeletal hands wrapped around mine, his thin, cold legs embracing mine. I could feel the warm breath of the shadow on my neck, the way his wet cold lips brushed against my skin with each word that he spoke. I could feel some cold liquid on my thigh, slowly running down onto the white bedsheets, and then I felt the familiar sting on my wrists.

“…Just like that, doll, just like that…” The shadow cooed softly, as my vision finally started to adjust, and when it did, my heart dropped. “…You’re doing so well for me…” Where were my clothes? “…Such a good little doll…” Why was there so much blood? “…I’m so fucking proud of you…” The bruises and bitemarks that decorated my body made me sick. “…So fucking pretty and so fucking dumb…” What am I holding? “…and most importantly-” What was he making me do? “…you-…” A razor? “…are-…” I wanted to scream, but I couldn’t. “…all-…” Please, be a nightmare. “…fucking-…” Why? “….mine…”

I wanted to cry as I saw Raven’s name carved into my scarred wrist. He guided my hand, taking his time to slowly cut a heart next to his name, the blood slowly oozed as it trickled down my arm and onto my thigh that was already coated in a deep crimson.

I wanted to scream, attack him, run away. I wanted to do something. Anything. But I couldn’t, my body wouldn’t budge.

Suddenly Ravens grip on my wrist tightened as he let go of my hand that held the razorblade, allowing it to drop onto the bloodied mattress that was littered with used needles. He outstretched my bleeding hand before he placed his fingers around my forearm, toying around and stretching my skin, tearing the cuts open as more blood began to spill. He brought my wrist up to his face, examining his masterpiece only to start lapping at the cuts like a dog, groaning at the taste. As he tasted my blood I could feel him roll his hips, his hard dick rubbing against my lower back. When he finally pulled away, I could feel the string of saliva that connected his mouth to my open wounds. He let out a soft laugh before he bit into my ear, tugging on it gently.

“…and this time, I’m not letting you go.”

“And what makes you think that I give a shit about you or your thoughts?” The white haired man laughed as he pointed the tip of his blade at my neck. “You have no place to speak. Excluding your immortality, you are nothing more than a pathetic weakling, just like any other human. So, why don’t you shut that pretty mouth of yours and don’t interrupt my plan?”

“I’m not going to let you kill that girl just because she rejected you!”

“I’ve been courting that damned harlot for months! I did everything she asked of me, I was at her every beck and call, and that is how I get repaid?!”

“That was your decision to make! Just because you were nice to her does not mean she owes you shit!-” I was cut off as the sharp, cold blade cut through my skin. I didn’t have time to process the pain on my face or the blood that slowly streamed down my face as the demon pinned me to the wall by my neck with his iron grip.

“That is where you’re wrong, (Y/N). I owned her body and soul from the moment our eyes met, and soon her heart will also be mine… it will depend on her choices if it’ll be in a metaphorical or literal sense.” He chuckled. “I will gut that bitch from the inside out if it’ll mean that her heart will belong to me.” The hazel eyed man threw me across the room like a rag doll, twirling his weapon between his calloused fingers, before making his way out. As he was about to step through the door, he shot me one last glare. “If you try to intervene, I won’t be as merciful to you.”

I needed to hurry. He should be somewhere near here. My eyes darted around the street, searching for the familiar white hair. Nothing. Just merchants and kids from the orphanage. Wait…

The orphanage. She worked there.

I ran. I ran as fast as I could. I could see the orphanage, it looked normal. Then I felt it. Smoke. Smoke and magic. After spending so much time with the demon, I could sense it. It was strong. Too strong. My legs were aching. My lungs were burning. But I ran. Fast. I ran through the labyrinth of the narrow alleyways, until I reached the back of the orphanage.

As I passed through the cold barrier, I was punched with the heat of the flames. I stared in horror at the burning building. I could hear the shrieking and howling of the children as they slowly burned alive, crying for any God to save them. But their prayers fell on deaf ears, or rather a self-proclaimed, cruel God that stood with-in arms-reach to the destructive pyre. With a smirk plastered onto his face, he pulled out a tobacco stick, placing it between his lips before he leaned closer to the fire, allowing a flame to gentle caress the end of his cigarette. His eyes looked up, not at the sky above, nor at the smoke that came from the building. He looked up at the woman he claimed to have loved as she screamed out his name, begging for him to save her, crying that she loved him. Her hoarse voice was filled with pure desperation. Sebastian maintained eye contact as he let out a chuckle, taking a few steps back to admire his destructive work.

I stood there, paralyzed, staring at the building that was once a home for many hopeful, innocent souls as it slowly crumbled down. The gut-wrenching sight was enough for me to forget about the demon that stood a couple feet away from me, the sadistic smirk on his face widening as he observed me.

He looked straight at me, his entire body drenched in fresh blood.

“You haven’t changed a bit.” I snarled in disgust.

“It’s not what it looks like!” Sebastian protested as if the familiar blade in his hand wasn’t dripping with the crimson liquid.

“You’re still nothing more than a goddamned monster!”

“(Y/N)-…”

“Don’t.”

Now before me stood a grown man, the violent child that thought of himself as a God was gone now. Even if the surprise was pleasant, I couldn’t help but wonder…

“(Y/N), please-!” His voice cracked as his knees hit the ground, sinking into the fresh mud. He plunged the weapon deep into the ground, his trembling hands held onto the handle tightly, his knuckles turning white. “I know you hate me. You have every right to despise me, but please, I beg of you. Hear me out, at least this one last time…” His breathing was uneven and shaky. Although his head was hanging low in shame, I could tell he held himself back from crying. “I’m sorry… I am so fucking sorry… and- I know that no words can repair the damage that I caused. I don’t expect you to forgive me. I don’t deserve your forgiveness. I just… There is not a single day when I do not regret the things that I’ve done to you… I’m sorry…”
