I ended up with a gender-neutral name but still ended up ditching it since I still associated it with my past self.

My deadname was Alorna. (Not named after Lorna cookies or the coat brand, but my dad's Diablo monk character.) I think its a beautiful name, and I'd be happy if someone found it fitting :)

(well im slavic so its actually anđela but most people are in fact not so i give thee the western version (i used to use that as my video game character's name bc all the characters had english names and i wanted to match lol))

which is really rare in my country and that’s kinda cool, i’ve never met someone else with that name

there’s an alternative spelling, André, that’s a lot more common here

in my language the apostrophe above the é puts the emphasis on that syllable so it’s Andre whereas my deadname is Andre

i know several people named André but no one named Andre

Oh cool I've never heard of someone kinda keeping their deadname's spelling mostly and just changing the pronunciation
