She heard the first gunshot and froze, feeling the bullet whip by her face. She turned, dodging into a nearby alleyway, unzipping her jacket so she could get the gun out. Who the hell was firing at her? She peeked around the corner, blue eyes scanning the street, trying to figure out who was taking shots at her. She could barely make out the figure on the roof and sighed before she shouted at him. “You are a terrible fucking shot!”

“Hey, fuck you bitch!” Wade shouted from where he was. “I’d like to see you do better!”

“Oh my fucking god!” Wade said, leaning back against the vent on a hotel roof, sniper rifle by his side. “How long does it take to come out of your apartment at 3 am?” He sighed. “I could be neck deep in a hooker right now!” Before finally seeing movement from the apartment across the street. But then a woman came out of the front door. “Who the fuck is that?”

She had tucked her gun back into the holster that was hidden underneath her jacket before she exited the building. Her target had been easier to get to than she had thought and she knew it would be a few days before the body was found so it gave her plenty of time to get away. She zipped her jacket up, tucking her hands into the pockets. Something felt off and she couldn’t help but glance around, trying to figure out what was different. 

The street looked normal with cars parked along the curbs, each dimly lit by the street lights overhead. She shrugged the feeling off, turning to walk back down the way she had came hours earlier.

Deadpool fired a shot, missing her by a few inches. “Shit!” He fired again, missing again too, even further off this time. “Fuck me!”
