Leatherface of Texas, patron saint of home and hearth. And butchers. :D

I’ve been working on this for over a week, and it’s finally freaking finished. I think. I’ll probably find something massively wrong with it when I look at it again in a few days, LOL... but for now, it’s finished!

I had a silly little idea to draw slashers as patron saints in the style of holy cards, or at least as close to them as I can get. I didn’t intend for this to turn out so intricate, but things just sort of escalated and I eventually decided to take the opportunity to really try and practice digital painting. It took an insane amount of time and frustration - learning new things is hard, haha... But it’s satisfying as well, and I’m really proud of how this turned out.

I’d like to do Jason and maybe Candyman? Because they’re really the most sympathetic of the slashers, in my opinion... but this was so much work I’m not sure if I’ll manage it. We shall see.
