Act 1 in a musical: Humor and upbeat songs, colorful characters. Laughter all around.
Act 2 in a musical: EVERYTHING FALLS TO SHIT. PEOPLE ARE DYING. HEARTS ARE BREAKING. ABORT THE THEATRE.

Why Derringer is the mystery Prizrak from the start of episode 2
If anyone here has an iPad or iPhone, I highly suggest playing Republique. It is the best game on iOS right now. I've just played through episode 2, and I'm in total love with it.
But I'm also anxious for episode 3, whenever that comes out. For right now, though, I'm trying to figure out who that mystery Prizrak officer was from the end of episode 2. And I have a few points as to why it points to him.
"You're the only one I can trust."
This is what the Headmaster/Overseer said to Derringer. That's either very good for Derringer or very bad for Derringer.
"Stay here. I'm coming back for you." "I've been looking for you..."
The bold is said at the start of episode 2, the italics said by Derringer (confirmed) at the end of episode 2. Derringer could be referring to the fact that, as basically head of security, he's aware that Hope's missing/attempt to escape. But it could also be a reference to what we watched through the video camera that branched the gap between episode 1 and episode 2.
"Calm down or I'll have to tazer you!"
Just like he did with Mireille, assuming the mystery Prizrack is him.
Also, if you scan Derringer, you'll find that he's American... from what I know, he's the only American there. I'd guess that he's either a spy of some sort of somehow linked to an operation that is bigger than just Hope.
The only downside to this is that it looks like Derringer killed the Librarian... although I didn't see any blood or anything. And most importantly, I didn't see the entire video.
I chose to watch the Librarian's murder with Hope, reason being that I didn't want to "shield" her from things like the Overseer does. I believe she needed to see that. She had the choice to turn it off again after I started playing it, which she took. Good on her. I also believe that since she said she could "handle" the banned books, Hope is stronger than she realizes, and can take a dose of reality. (It's also hard to argue either side - watching with Hope or watching alone - without sounding like the Overseer. But I think the difference is that, by watching with Hope, I gave her the choice of watching or turning it off. The Overseer/Headmaster - and the viewer, should they had watched it alone - never gives Hope a choice. So I think I made the right decision.)
The main issue with watching it with Hope is that I didn't see the entire video. I'm not sure if I would have seen the entire video if I watched it alone, though. I'm also not sure if there was anything else besides what was seen. Also, in the way he was lying, how the hell did his glasses fly off to the first floor?
Anyways.
I also think that Hope is either the Headmaster's daughter or the Headmaster, corrupted by the things he tries to "shield" Pre-Cals from, is in love with Hope.
Regardless, I love this game so much. I hope everyone gets a chance to play it. It's really fantastic and I can't recommend it enough.

The Road To Defiance Update #1
DONE: Gateway Arch (or at least as done as it is right now... might be revised later on)
HOURS: about 2
IN PROGRESS: making the towers and the like underneath the arch, replacing grass with sand.
DAY: One
DAYS UNTIL VACATION IS OVER: 27 Days
The arch took a bit more thinking than I thought it would, but at the moment it's up and steady. For now, it's the completed arch - I'll be adding (or, really subtracting) the gaps and damaged part of the arch later on, when I've got the basic geography of this town down.
The thing about this new series is that we haven't seen a lot of the geography as a sort of map; we've seen a bunch of places, but I don't recal us ever seeing a map of what's where. So building, for example, the Lawkeeper office in relation to the Tarr household is a bit of guesswork and a lot of observation of specific episodes. But I think once I get things together - and do a shtako ton of planning - it'll work out in my favor.
The idea of the radio station inside the arch would be frakking awesome and epic, but unfortunately I'm not that skilled with Minecraft and thinking with blocks to truly figure out the dimensions that the arch has to be to hold an entire office in it... I might add it later, should I figure that out.
And, finally, what I'm currently working on is the stuff under the arch, specifically from this photo:
((PHOTO IS NOT MINE I GOT IT FROM GOOGLE)
There's sand, a bunch of solar panels, and possibly some sort of radio station thing right next to the arch... so it'll be interesting to see how I can use that to my advantage.
I think, for minecraft purposes, the fields right above the solar panels will be filled with wheat or just long grass, I'm not sure yet. And since I've build my town on a flat area filled with grass, I'll need to manually put in all the sand AND the hills surrounding the town... it'll be a long build. Luckily I have a lot of time on my hands.
Road To Defiance Project!
So, in case ya'all don't know, my winter break project is making the town of Defiance in Minecraft. And yes, I mean Syfy's "Defiance".
I'll be updating here to show how much is being done and the like. If it gets popular, I may try to live-stream some construction, but I'm not entirely sure if that can be a thing. So... here we go.
