I kinda like how instead of being all flustered and blushy, Ichigo tears up here. Because like, being kissed by someone you don’t know without warning is a huge violation of personal space. Not everyone reacts the same but for me personally that kind of stuff just makes me wanna cry.

So like, heck yeah good emotional response. Cry and get angry at the violation of your personal autonomy.

the funniest thing about tokyo mew mew so far is how unethical the good guys are

get DNA from several endangered species, working under the pretense of conservation but actually just to fight aliens. identify some girls as being compatible with them, presumably by covertly taking DNA samples from a whole bunch of potential candidates. lure them together and then zap powers into them without asking if they’re on board with it, then start telling them it’s now their job to save the world. the next day, one of them almost reveals herself because no one told her she could transform by accident, while another one goes berserk and starts attacking people. also they all get conscripted to work as waitresses
