i dont want to look âprettyâ i want to look otherworldly and vaguely threatening
â i smell a PARTY !! â
â iâll take that as a yes . â he replies, even though he never really posed the question. â house party or .. something on the beach ?? â
â well, iâve got a four day weekend. and i think we should make something of it. â
âYâall gonna buy something? We donât pay for air conditioning for you to just chill in here, you know. Not cool, brother.â
â yâ could turn it down then, toph. â  dean says, sitting up on a counter he definitely shouldnât be on . â or just let your most loyal customer stick around. â
Each day was the same as before for Alexander Carraway, or Alex like most of the people around him called him. He would go to school and not listen to a single word the teacher was saying for he was too busy writing in his notebook that was full of lyrics, either complete or half finished. Theyâre nothing special. He would constantly tell himself as he made sure not a single soul would be able to read any of his songs. That was until after his English class when he figured out that his notebook was lost. He went through his bag and looked in the class room but it was nowhere to be found. With his heart beating out of his chest he could imagine all the worst scenarios. What if someone would read it and find it so hilarious that theyâd hang it around school as a joke? Then when he was on his way to search in his locker he saw no one else but Dean Carter leaning up against his locker, holding his notebook. âGive me thatâ He told him quickly as he reached for the notebook. Then his lips parted the moment he told him that they needed to talk. âWhat do you want?â
dean chuckled, nodding as alex grabbed the notebook back. ' thatâs wicked shit, dude. â he says, slipping a hand into the pocket of his pants. â read it cover to cover during lunch . now, do you have chords to go with âem or have you got me all worked up over nothing ?? â he paused, looking pointedly at the other, narrowing his eyes slightly. he was pretty sure he had seen alex at saturn records, and hopefully that was a good sign. he would probably punch something if he got excited over a wordsmith who turned out to just be airhead poet: all talk and no game. â well ?? â
Peaches shrugged. âI havenât heard of any. Thereâs probably something going on at the roller rink or the pier. You could just show up.â
â one or the other, maybe. shouldnât be too hard to get in. â he always finds a way.
*wants to chill and avoid drama* *is opinionated and takes no shit, criticises everything and needs to have the last word*
Itâs hard to resist a bad boy whoâs a good man.
(via twinception)
the blonde boy stood slouched, leaning against the locker of one alex carraway. when asking around didnât work, he simply told mrs. kelly at the front desk that they had a english group project and wanted to ask him about when would be a good time. if she checked, he was in alexâs english class: the lie held up. dean sat a few rows back from the other male, and watched as he spent the majority of his time in the cinderblock room scribbling notes. that day though, alex had forgotten his notebook on his desk, and dean picked it up. now he stood, leaning against the metal locker, loosely holding onto the notebook. when he spotted alex he smiled, raising his brow and the book. â we should talk. â
' any good shows tonight ? â he asks, looking up at the other as he flicks through a stack of records ( he could use some new spins for the station ! ). â i could use a night off. â
