Currently watching a lot of simulcast animes and its sad how the quality is just not the best it could be. There's lots of just panning over a photo, mouth not even moving, eyes not blinking or shimmering, etc.

I understand that animes don't exist in a vacuum, and that the artists, production, and the entire team are under immense pressure and often work insane hours to meet deadlines because of the need to constantly pump out episodes. And that there are big and small animation studios and budgets vary and a whole host of other things.

I am sad. But I am here.
