“Please stop trying to steal Kinako-san...”
Yamato-san.
Watching as his remarks startle Sougo for a bit, Yamato manages a smile; it’s been a long time ( days? weeks? years? ) since he could place the last time he found someone to tease. Don’t get Yamato wrong, there’s plenty of his colleagues that he talks to on a daily basis for the customary drinking out, but that’s nothing more than to save face. “Ahh, I get it,” Yamato responds, checking back to the pick-up counter on his coffee, “Sou isn’t the type to move first for messages. You like to be the one that waits, huh~?” Not as if Yamato had any excuse, mostly just trying to cut ties to live out his very bleak life; like he wanted. These normal, hardworking but honest kids made him want to try his hardest too – which Yamato vehemently didn’t want to enjoy. Like man thirsting for water, but still refuses to drink.
Rather than go on the discussion on Sougo’s father ( years of sharing the dorms with each other made Yamato privy on how Sougo felt about his own father. From the tone to how he would hold himself as he tried to smile through the happy news on the further achievements his father made. Being the heir to the throne is a heavy burden ), Yamato would say, “Yeah, you look like a natural in front of the camera, Sou. Sounds like it’s been a lot of tiring work, but you’ve done a really good job.” He feels like it’s a weak praise, but hopefully decent enough, for an old friend. It’s difficult enough to want to watch much else on TV when he gets back home late, and the news had a chance of also showing his own father, so he avoids it as much as possible.
“With how long the days can be, makes me think it’s replaced my blood at this point.” Coffee and beer, his doctor has a field day with that one. Not like he’s enjoying it much either, but as a reminder to take a seat at Sougo’s urging, Yamato looked back again at the counter and noticed what is most likely his order. “One sec,” says Yamato, holding up a finger as well to keep the conversation paused as he crossed the short distance to pick up the caffeine elixir of life back with him, and finally sit down.
“Well, it’s not like I have anything interesting about myself to say,” Yamato answers after taking a tentative sip on his coffee, but decided to wait for a while longer to drink the rest after it’s cooled. “Graduated and went to finding a cozy office job like I told you I would. The casualness of it is–” boring? repetitive? grey? “–easy to remember.” Shrugs as he glances out into the busy crowd outside of the window. Swarms of other people also dressed in business wear, highschoolers on the way to the subway to their stop, and mothers hurrying to the store for the newest sales. It’s nothing different than how he would look out into the streets growing up, and think: yes, everyone had their own lives. They all had a family to go to. “Maybe afterwards if we’re ever lucky, we can go out for more adult drinks. I’m always getting to go to those company hangouts, and I know those guys can’t drink anything like you could, Sou. You’re not that far gone as a lawyer to loosen your tie, right?”
Suddenly he’s put on the spot and now they’re back in their college days again, with Yamato’s relentless, but playful teasing. He flushes red at Yamato’s accusations, and shakes his head vehemently. “N-No, that’s not the case at all!” He protests, but he cracks a smile at how nostalgic their conversation is. Instead of at the table of a bustling coffee shop, they’re in their shared dormitory trying to live on shittily brewed instant coffee which tasted more like water with a hint of the supposed bitter taste rather than anything substantial. It feels comfortable-- like he’s back at peace with those more careless days. The days where he felt a little more free from his father. Now the guilt settles in, and he thinks for a second he doesn’t deserve any of this. He doesn’t deserve Yamato simply brushing the topic of his father aside in consideration of Sougo.
He inhales a deep breath, willing the nagging shame away as Yamato goes on to offer some praise. It’s nothing much, but it speaks billions to Sougo’s lack of confidence in anything related to his self-worth. He knows that Yamato cares about him. “Thank you, Yamato-san... I’m glad to hear that. I was very nervous at first, but I suppose I did get used to it.” Sougo points out with a reproachful chuckle. The mention of it makes Sougo think to the next appearance he has to make on another news channel in the following week. It’s almost like he’s a celebrity, when all he’s trying to do is at least somewhat honest work as a lawyer.
He laughs in agreement genially, and he wonders if he’s coming off too fake. Acting has become part of his blood as well, with the coffee. “It seems like we’re the same in that respect. This is what comes with becoming an adult, huh?” He nods as the other takes a moment to retrieve his own drink from the counter, and smiles up at him reassuringly when he settles down with him at the table.
“Ah, so you landed the comfortable life you’ve always been wanting.” Sougo remarks, grabbing his own cup of coffee and taking a large gulp of it. He enjoys the scalding liquid slide down his throat, and then inevitably warming him belly and magically rejuvenating him into a person rather than a robot. “That must be nice. So every day is the same as usual? I miss having my routine.” He muses out-loud, showing even some envy at how monotonous his friend’s life became. That sort of normal-- Sougo values that, rather than being heralded as a celebrity lawyer and the future inheritor of the Osaka fortune. I envy them all, Sougo thinks as he follows Yamato’s gaze to the window, and also glances over all the adults and teenagers commuting to work or school. Of course, he doesn’t know their stories-- but for all he carries a heavier burden than them.
“... drinking?” He balks at the proposal, but then remembers that right, they’re adults and they should do what adults do. He usually avoids alcohol because of how... undignified he gets, and he always manages to brush his family off by saying he likes to abstain from “wordly pleasures” like the sake and wine they serve at dinner-- somehow they believe him every time. But he can’t say no to an opportunity to hang out with his old friend. It’s not like Yamato isn’t used to it, considering that backhanded compliment to him and insult to Yamato’s coworkers. “Well... I’ll be willing to accompany you. Just text me and I’ll see if I have the time.”
“Congratulates on your 3rd birthday, Banri-san... it’s amazing at how much you can do despite being very small.”
Yaotome-san?
It’s suspicious enough to be leaning over in an alleyway this late at night, but Gaku hopes that keeps everyone away as he struggled the rest of the way to his apartment. TRIGGER’s summer shoot sapped most of his energy away, that luckily Tenn helped keep at bay with the special sunscreen he managed to find, along with lingering under umbrellas most of the time helped, but alas staying out there for so long did enough.
At a particularly strong rush of vertigo, Gaku leans heavily against the brick wall, trying to catch his breath. He knows what he needs, desperately, but he can’t. Not now, if he can get to his apartment there’s plenty of blood bags left, yet he craved the warmth of a body underneath him–
With a harsh pull, Gaku looks up. His blood lust is tamed momentarily at smelling a human nearby, but that wouldn’t last for long. All his acting skills failed, his logic flying away as it yelled at him to pretend he’s some drunk trying to wobble his way home, instead with Gaku turning into a panting mess. “R-run,” he gave as his only warning, jolting forward afterwards to jump on the lithe person, dragging them down. Subconsciously he’s aware that it’s a man underneath him, but the want of blood outweighed his preferences, and he appeared good-looking enough anyway, so–
The moon shined brightly behind him, Gaku leaning closer and closer to that pale neck, opening his mouth where fangs glistened in the moonlight…
His patrol has been going relatively fine, and Sougo has been convinced that his shift will go well tonight considering the peace of the prior week. Foolishly, he’s let himself relax for once-- to where he freezes as soon as he hears a deep voice give him one warning.
“Run.”
He isn’t given much of a warning, considering that he’s quickly pinned down by another body, and he finds himself on the ground. Sougo glances behind the man on top of him, and follows the path of the moonlight shining on his assailant. It bounces off the man’s shiny silver hair, and he then looks at his eyes. Those are the ones of TRIGGER’s leader, although now enhanced with an eerie red glow. His breath hitches at this point, and his fanboy senses take over his vampire hunter senses, and he lies still on the road. He glances over to the glint of Gaku’s fangs, and a shiver pulses down his spine. So it’s like that.
TRIGGER’s leader, Yaotome Gaku, is a vampire. Perhaps TRIGGER itself are all vampires-- well, he knows that Ryunosuke also works as a vampire hunter and occasionally collaborates with them, IDOLiSH7. So it could be a cover-up... is Tsunashi-san aware runs through Sougo’s mind, but then he quickly returns his focus onto the main problem now. He needs to stabilize him, and he should do his job-- even if that means killing the leader of his favorite idol group. “Y-Yaotome-san?” He mutters, staring at him with wide eyes.
"You’re... a vampire..?” Well, it’s not like he can deny it, considering what he’s about to do. His hunter instincts refuse to kick in, instead the uglier part of himself finds it even a bit arousing. Not every day he finds out that his ideal man is a vampire-- well, it’s curious that he’s always been so pale.

"Sougo-kun, Is it true? Are you really pregnant? How are feeling? Have you been nauseous? Is... Is it... Ours?" -holding on his shoulders and looking at him so deeply- "I-I'll gladly shoulder all responsibility.."
Oh, he just loves to make the situation worse by drinking.
“… So Yaotome-san has already told you…”
number1sobadeliveryman:
“Huh? How would you not know?” Was Osaka just getting together with whoever, whenever? “I think an idol having a child is cause for a scandal… I can’t imagine if it were me and I had a kid with… wait what am I talking about Osaka is this a prank? Am I being filmed?”
“You know how I lose control when I’m drunk.... I’m afraid it could be from those times.” Sougo frowns, hoping his acting is effective enough for this joke. He’s read up on this ‘pregnancy’ prank, and knew it could also constitute as preparation for TRIGGER’s leader. If possible, it’d be a bit amusing if he somehow convinces Gaku of his apparent pregnancy. “It’s not a prank, Yaotome-san. I don’t want to cause trouble for everyone else, but... I just needed to tell someone.”
Flower Shop Owner.
Shunya laughs softly at Sougo’s interest. The young man really does seem like the bookish type. “If you’re interested, I can recommend you some titles—and if romance isn’t quite your style, there’s definitely some espionage stories my wife has read lately with a similar idea.”
“I’m not exactly certain what his sensitivity to those things are so maybe you should consult his doctor first after all,” Shunya answers as he begins weaving the flowers. It’s been a while since he was able to do something other than a standard arrangement! He makes the width a little thicker to ensure the flowers really hold themselves together: much like the strength and unity Sougo’s group has for one another. They’re a cute bunch, those seven—it’s no wonder why they took the world by storm once they really got going. “If you find that he has no severe reactions, it might not be too bad of an idea to have it around. Even if it’s just in the form of essential oils. It’s said to also help with airway inflammation for asthmatics.”
It’s then that he spots something near the counter that he reaches for: some short sprigs of leftover baby’s breath from a previous arrangement Koe made. I wonder if he’s okay, Shunya thinks. His brother is never really the type of leave behind a mess. He winds up weaving in the baby’s breath as well; hints of white among a sea of violet would be a nice combination.
“You can also dry the buds and put them in a pouch for your bedside or pillow. You can even put them bake them in something like a biscuit or cookies!”
Sougo brightens up at the idea of espionage fiction involving flower language. That sounds pretty thrilling, he’s excited to try out those recommendations on the next time he has an off day. “Yes, I would love to hear about it. Romance is perfectly fine with me, I like to read all genres.” Romance has became his guilty pleasure more than anything, if he had to be honest. There are some things that he’s unable to recommend to Riku.
He nods in understanding as Shunya gives a thoughtful explanation, and as wlel Sougo begins to quietly observe the elder man work with the flowers. Working with flowers may be a nice idea some time. Sougo smiles at the thought, and for a second, he thinks about a certain member of TRIGGER working with them. He’d look so good, Sougo thinks, unconscious of his cheeks reddening at the thought. Eventually, he smiles as he listens to the last tidbit of advice he has. “Is that so? I’ll be sure to consult our Manager about Riku-kun’s doctor... and I’ll definitely give it a try.”
“Eh... so you can do that too? The versatility of flowers are pretty amazing.” Sougo remarks, secretly happy at the possibilities that can unfold-- maybe he’ll talk to Mitsuki about baking them once the flowers have seen its last days. That way, they’re not wasting them at all. They’ll make for aromatic cookies-- it’ll add a touch of sophisticated flair, much like those desserts he saw while they filmed the battle royale drama.

Hinata Starter | @dearilluminate
“Oiiii, did cha hear me?”
Hinata waved his hand in front of the other male, clear annoyance in his voice.
“Yur blocking the way, fam. Can’t use the vending machine if you sit there and gawk at it. Pick one and go, it ain’t gunna magically pop a drink out no matter how much you stare. Are ya outta money or somethin?”
Fam? Sougo pauses, his puzzled expression rather intensifying than turning away entirely. He thinks about what that means, and then concludes it’s crazy teenager slang again. If only he studied that book more carefully! Fam... fam... what does that mean? Family? It’s short for family, right? But he’s not related to him! Sougo decides to shelve those thoughts for another time, resolving to look it up when this kid stops yelling at him.
“That’s... not the case here. I apologize, I was just thinking about something.” Before the stranger got onto his case for staring at the vending machine, Sougo was trying to remember which drinks his group members requested. Rather, he was trying to think of what to get for Tamaki since he arbitrarily yelled that he wanted pudding again... He sighs, deciding to get on with it and selected the preferred drinks for everyone else, and settles for the most popular sports drink for Tamaki. Gathering all the newly purchased drinks in his arms, he nods to the other to go ahead. “Sorry for making you wait. Ah, but can I ask what fam means?”
Arashi-san.
“Osaka-san, are you ready?”
Sayuri opened the door to his dressing room, she was asked to fetch him for the shooting. She looked around, a confused expression on her face. She clearly remembered the information she was given on MEZZO” was that they were a dual group. Was the other member late?
“Ah, Osaka-san… Is Yotsuba-san late? I haven’t seen him walk in yet or check in with anyone. Although your group shots are scheduled later, I believe. I’ll see if we can’t get someone to get a hold of him, hopefully he’s not lost. If you’re ready though, we’re ready for the photo shoot.”
From what Sayuri had gotten, it seemed her parent’s company wanted MEZZO” to promote their new fashion line and from what Sougo was wearing, she could see why. Their concept for this fashion line seemed to perfectly fit the male.
“Just follow me and I’ll take you over.”
Sougo grimaces, restlessly fiddling with his phone. No notifications show up on his phone, testing his patience-- Tamaki-kun still hasn’t yet arrived. Usually, he’d make sure the younger boy was with him on his own, but this time Iori forced Tamaki to attend school that day since he seems to be a little behind on his studies. Sougo cannot blame him if that’s the case, but they made sure that he’d be able to make it in time despite having classes today...
So when the other arrives, he fumbles slightly, but straightens his back and abandons his phone on his dresser. He needs to hide his anxiety. When prompted about his partner, his face darkens considerably. Despite this, he clears his throat and simply smiles at her. “Ah, that seems to be the case. I apologize for the inconvenience, he’s been told to attend school today.”
He adjusts his outfits, smoothing out any apparent wrinkles, and dips his head slightly. “Thank you so much... Arashi-san, yes?” Remembering the information of the company they’re working for, they have sent their daughter over to watch over the photo shoot. Once he thinks he’s sufficiently prepared, he glances over at her with a small smile.
“Yes, I think I’m ready. Then, please lead the way.”
please..............feed me.............................................................
A… homeless person?
“I-If you’re fine with my cooking, I’m willing to make something for you. Come on in!” He doesn’t quite worry for his safety, since if it comes to a knife fight, Sougo definitely has the advantage.
