GUYS!! I am SO excited rn! I just bought a ticket to a Taylor Swift club night in Nashville on September 4th and it’s the closest to seeing her in concert I’ll get for awhile so I am SO PUMPED!! I know red and folklore are super similar musicaly but story and theme wise, she is speak now all grown up. Speak now was her fantasies of running through an enchanted forest in a ball gown while folklore is the realities... realizing you’ve gotten lost in the woods and you ballgown is really a ripped up dress and a cardigan. She was running with her prince but realized their were bumps in the road and she will come in contact with thorns. This album is Taylor growing up and as someone who’s been really scared of growing up folklore made me realize, it’ll be scary but it will okay to grow up and face my realities instead of just my fantasies. I know this isn’t exactly where anyone’s head is at with this album but it’s how I see it and how it’s helping me ✨
