A new update rolled out that allows people to blaze your posts. Now, this is fine on paper. If somebody else wants to blaze a post they found funny on your behalf, that's their choice. However, as RP blogs, we don't want some rando mistaking a rp reply for a fanfic or some weird scenario such as that and blaze your post, causing a lot of unwanted attention. Stay frosty.

The stranger certainly wasn't lying. Eddie had never seen him before, and he was as good a phonebook as any for the residents of Home. This one was... well he was certainly new. Moving, or visiting? Either way, Ed was glad to meet a new person, maybe even make a new friend.

"Out of town, eh? Same for me. Moved here from..... out of state. Set up shop just down the street."

Luckily, this had been his last stop. There were a few other errands he had to run before heading back to the Post Office, but those could certainly wait. There was no deadline, anyway-- and the last thing Ed would willingly do is leave a stranger stranded!

"Can I help you with directions then, Mr.....?"

The voice seems to startle him. Coming from behind, a new voice he'd never heard before-- Ed responds with a surprised yelp, fumbling with a small parcel before straightening. Wanting to finish his task before turning, it's quickly and safely placed in the mailbox. Only then does he straighten and turn, an almost embarrassed look on his face.

"Sorry, sorry! You startled me. I was off in my own little world....."

Trailing off as he massaged the back of his neck, Eddie laughed. Offered a now-free hand for a shake, a smirk splits his face.

"It is nice here, isn't it? A tight-knit community, everybody knows everybody else. I'm Eddie, by the way-- are you visiting, or do I get to be excited about a new neighbor?"

KNOCK KNOCK!

There's a knock on Home as Eddie hides from the rain. Package in hand, coat draped protectively over it. Hoping his windbreaker was water-tight enough, hoping he'd thought to hide it from the weather soon enough. Wouldn't do to deliver ruined mail, especially to Darling. That would've just felt mean.

Waiting patiently for the door to be opened, Ed kept himself from ringing the bell again. He wasn't impatient from the bad weather, but moreso worried whatever contents were inside the mail would get ruined from prolonged exposure. It wasn't unheard of for Poppy to request delivery of baked goods, or Sally to send out carefully crafted invitations to one of her shows. He'd never failed a delivery before, and he certainly wasn't going to start now.

Last stop of the day. Strangely enough, felt like the most important. Having worked his way (as usual) clockwise around the community-- finally ending at Wally's. The rain hadn't been so heavy earlier, just a few pitter patters here and there, but now? Now it came down in cascades. In waves, almost. Enough to threaten to soak anyone out in it for more than a minute. Someone like Eddie, already drenched.

"I can't recall the last time we had rain this heavy..."

Holding the box tight to his chest, Ed shifted.

"Wally, are you home?"
