Supernatural End Headcanon
What if in the end of Supernatural, they figure out how to take care of all the demons and ghosts and monsters. They are all gone. There will be no more wars, no more bumps in the night; Sam and Dean have nothing left to hunt. This is how I want the end of the last episode to be: Dean is driving the Impala down the road towards the sunset. He has Sam riding in the passenger seat and Cas in the back seat. Sam is the first to speak. "How many people could say that they've fought monsters as a living?" Dean smiles and says, "How many people could say that they've fought side by side with an angel?" He looks back and smiles at Cas. "How many hunters can say they've made it to the finish line alive?" Sam continues with the stream of "how many can say" questions. "How many people can say that they've saved the world. Multiple times?" Dean says. "How many people can say they've died? Multiple times. And come back," Cas adds his two cents in. Sam and Dean both smile. "We did it." Dean awed. "I can't believe it." "We did good." Sam smiled. And then they show the Impala driving down the road before fading to black. Then they show a montage of a "memory" of all the characters who didn't deserve to die. Example: Charlie, Rufus, Jo, etc.
