Never let me KyouHaku while listening to Disney music
He hurried to the door and closed it behind him as soon as the other stepped in, a short shiver going down his spine at the sudden yet cold air coming from the outside.Â
"It was alright." Better than alright actually; knowing Tsurugi was going to stay with him for a few days had improved his mood greatly. "Busy, making room for you."
Hakuryuu stopped right by his side and took the taller teenâs bag off his shoulder, setting it on the floor before tugging at Tsurugiâs sleeve to make him lean down just a bit, and pressed a short kiss on his cheek. âHow was yours?â
A faintly red nose wrinkled for a moment before his attention shifted back to Hakuryuu and a dark eyebrow raised at the words. That was good-- not like he required much room to begin with.
The weight of his bag lifting from his shoulder made the taller teen blink once and the tug to his sleeve made him lean forward automatically. Though the small kiss to his cheek shouldn't have exactly caught him off guard, it did, and he was thankful for the fact his cheeks were still pinkish from being outside.
"Homework is a pain," is his only muttered reply, lips curling somewhat as he hung his jacket up, "School is a pain." That aside, he leans down to the other teen to steal a more proper little smooch.
How could he stay so calm after going through such an incident, Hakuryuu didnât know, but Hearing Tsurugi being casual about it made him feel somewhat relieved. He was right, after all. It could have been way worse.
He sighed, but a half smile was tugging at his lips already. âAlright, alright.â Just his luck indeed. âHow many black cats have you come across in your life, Tsurugi? Have you broken any mirrors recently?â A bit more teasing for the sake of distracting him -or rather, both of them- couldnât be that bad.
Once heâd cleaned the scrape thoroughly, he threw the soaked gauze on top of the stained ones. Now he just neededâ âThere.â His free hand grabbed a bandage roll and held it gently against the taller teenâs wound, slowly and carefully wrapping the cloth around his arm. A couple minutes later, the otherâs scrape was covered and the bandage secured with a bit of tape.
"Well, thatâs it." Another sigh escaped his lips. It had been simple, but he was quite satisfied with his job. Now he just had to make sure Tsurugi took care of it daily⌠or take care of it himself.
Panicking and stressing would only make the situation worse, for the both of them. Tsurugi knew that much at least. The sigh catches his attention and he looks over from the corner of his eye, raising an eyebrow before his own lips twitch at Hakuryuu's words. The teasing was justified at this point and it only relaxed both of them more anyways, so it wasn't unwelcome.
"At least a dozen, I think," he sighs under his breath in response, nose wrinkling faintly. Really, his luck was just terrible sometimes. Tsurugi doesn't flinch this time as pressure is applied to the scrape when Hakuryuu wraps the bandage around his arm, shoulder simply rolling when the other teen's hands pull away.
His words make the taller teen look over, eyes studying Hakuryuu's face for a moment before looking to his arm, head tilting to the side. It'd definitely be more than enough for something this minor, all without having to go to a hospital too.
He'd said that thanks weren't necessary, but still-- "I appreciate this," more than anything, actually. A small peck to the others' cheek was his payment before Tsurugi sinks back against the couch, arms crossing. Long, long day. "Do you want to stay for dinner?"
Had to thank his nurse more properly, right?
just married (except not really)
He was so engrossed in his task that hearing the taller teenâs voice actually made him tense up and turn around quickly with a slightly shocked look in his eyes. Did he really hear him practicing?Â
Alright, that was the tiniest bit embarrassing, he could admit that much, but the light blush that began to spread across his cheeks wasnât the result of that.
Hakuryuu spent a few seconds in silence, lips parted as he tried to collect himself as quickly as possible. ââŚHappy Valentineâs Day, Tsurugi.â In the end it just sounded firm and a bit too serious, practically the same as when he used to hand him over those silly challenge letters of his. Oh well, heâll do better next year.
He took a few steps to somewhat close the space between them and thrusted the small bouquet towards Tsurugi, giving him a gentler look as soon as he brushed off this petty incident.
Tsurugi did try to mask his amusement just a little bit, eyebrows raising when the shorter teen turned to face him so quickly. He leaned back a little automatically, blinking at the blush that slowly but surely spread across Hakuryuu's face.
The silence was a little odd but he didn't break it, waiting patiently instead. And the words were a bit too serious considering all the practice Hakuryuu had put into it but Tsurugi could feel his lips twitch again; too cute, honestly. He wouldn't say it out loud though. But he might've been a little confused when he found himself with an arm full of flowers all of a sudden, blinking rapidly as he looked down and then back up.
It was his own turn to go a little pink. "Same to you," was his chosen, quieter response, his own choice of a present held out to the other almost robotically. Tsurugi had to wonder if he'd ever adjust to this fully, it was still kind of embarrassing.
He did manage to shrug it off some and relax, leaning down during the lull in conversation to offer a small peck to Hakuryuu's lips. Much better.
just married (except not really)
Getting the rings at the fair about a month ago had been quite an impulsive move on his part, but still, something told Hakuryuu heâd find a good use for them soon, somehow.
And he did.
Valentineâs day was rather unfamiliar to him considering he never had someone to spend it with, yet today he did truly feel like doing something special, something that would surprise Tsurugi.Â
The teen thought one of the small gardens scattered around the city would be a nice place to stand around for a while with the other, and honestly, after taking a quick look at it, it was the perfect setting for a moment like this. It had been a good idea to convince him to meet up there after all.
One of his hands was held to his mouth while the other grasped a small bouquet firmly. âHappy Valentineâs Day, Tsurugi.â A pause. âToo serious⌠Happy Valentineâs Day, Tsurugi!â He frowned. No, he didnât want to sound too eager either. Without being particularly aware of his surroundings, he kept muttering to himself, hoping to find the exact way he wanted his greeting to sound like.
Tsurugi wasn't really into any holiday, if he had to be honest. Christmas was as close as you'd get to him being excited about a holiday. Valentine's Day wasn't anywhere to be seen on the list. Passing around valentines in class when he was much younger was a really distant memory and up until this year it hadn't mattered to him.
And it still wouldn't have, had Hakuryuu not asked to meet up that day. If the shorter male wanted to celebrate-- Tsurugi wouldn't say no. And at least getting a small present along the way would be easy. A small teddy bear wasn't weird right? Hopefully.
He wasn't surprised to see the other there first, either. Tsurugi was quiet in his approach as always, the mumbling getting louder as he got closer--
Was he practicing?
Lips twitched at the corners into an amused smirk, head tilting as he came to a stop behind the shorter male. "Happy Valentine's Day to you too," Tsurugi answered in return, head tilting to the side as he waited.
Tsurugi!! Happy Valentines Day!! Hopefully you and Hakuryuu have something fun planned! (ŕšâ˛á´âľŕš)
You too, Tenma--

His first instinct was to shift his hands away the moment he felt the other maleâs arm tense, but for once, he didnât follow his impulses and kept his grasp firmly for a few seconds more. Then, as carefully as he could, he put the stained cloth aside.
"TsurugiâŚ" He let out a soft sigh, gaze lowering faintly at his words. "Thereâs no need to thank me. You would have done the same." And he didnât even need to look at him in the eye to ask for a confirmation; he simply believed that if he had been the one injured, Tsurugi would have taken care of him too.
A brief moment passed before Hakuryuu focused his attention on his task again, his hands setting his arm free for a moment as he shuffled around the contents of the box on his lap. Some saline solution would work just fine for now, probably. He opened the bottle and soaked a clean gauze with the liquid, bringing it to the scrape and brushing the cloth against it ever so slightly.
"Next time you decide to go out when thereâs shootings taking place, at least make sure you tell me." Hopefully a small joke would liven up the atmosphere, maybe even distract the other from the handling of his wound.
Tsurugi rolled his shoulder some when Hakuryuu's hands pulled away, glancing down at his arm, nose wrinkling vaguely. At least it wasn't as bad as it could be; that was the only thought that constantly kept crossing his mind. It could always be worse.
Hakuryuu's reply made him look up again, eyebrows furrowing for a moment. True, of course, but still-- he didn't comment on it again though, choosing to shift in his seat and lean back against the couch just a little more. Hopefully it wouldn't make it harder for the shorter teen to tend to his arm. He made sure to hold it out a little further just in case though.
The brushing of a new cloth stung just a bit again and he ignored it in favor of Hakuryuu's comment, almost groaning out loud. He managed not to, but a sigh did escape and his eyes rolled. It was hard to hold back a snort, too. "It was an accident, believe me. I was trying to get home when I'd heard about it," the dark haired teen huffs, lips pursing somewhat.
"A bad case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time, honestly," just his luck, really. Look at his track record of incidents. Unbelievable.
Tidying up the place meant making room for Tsurugiâs stuff in his closet and room and⌠not many things more, really. He usually kept everything in place, but now that Taiyou wouldnât be there for some time he had even less things to take care of, and thus, he did chores even faster. Not that it was something he should complain about, right?
The knock on the door made him perk up immediately, stepping out of his room to make his way through the hallway and open the door, his expression brightening up noticeably upon seeing the taller teen in front of him. âThat was quick,â Hakuryuu commented, making way for the other to step in before he could even greet him properly. He didnât want to keep him out in the cold even if it would be just for a few seconds more.
Hopefully it'd get warmer soon-- the door opening makes him look up and blink once, Hakuryuu's bright expression catching his attention before the words registered. Ah, well. "I didn't have much to pack and it's cold out so I hurried," Tsurugi mumbles in response, moving inside when the other steps back, shoes sliding off at the door politely before he pulls the scarf from around his neck.
Much warmer inside, thankfully. His bag is shrugged from his shoulder a bit so he can tug his coat off as well, blowing some air upwards to get his hair from his face. He could only hope he hadn't actually forgotten anything either, he didn't think he did but you never know.
"How was your day?" They hadn't really talked much after all, the least he could do was ask.
help (t,k,f,ten)
The first steps in were dark; probably made so people from the outside couldnât sneak peeks into the mirrored maze, as well as to probably further disorient you before getting to the actual maze.
Making Tenma take the lead was more of a âif we get lost, it wonât be my faultâ idea, however, upon entering the mirrored halls, Kariya wasnât sure anymore that it would matter who was leading. Â Glancing around at all the different mirrors ranging in size and what kind of reflections they had, it was kind of funny to see the others skewed in strange proportions.. and other times, a bit, well, disturbing.
At the first fork in the maze, Kariya glanced up from one of the mirrors at the brunetteâs question, âEither way we go, itâs not like weâre not gonna end up getting out eventually.â  Really, how difficult could something like this be to get out of?  Heâd seen people going through the exit when they had first approached the maze, so it was doable..
The minute they entered, Feiâs vision was swamped with reflections from the mirrors. almost making him dizzy that he ran right into a mirror after a few steps, muttering an âowâ underneath his breath.
He stared at the mirror he ran into for a moment, his disoriented reflection staring back before he backed away a bit and followed after the others, a bit peeved he ran smack-dab face first into a mirror. He knew there were plenty of that coming soon thoughâŚ.
"Wouldnât both paths lead to the exit anyways?" He asked, mildly curious as to why they would need a fork in a maze but brushed it off soon enough. To keep it more interesting is what he thought at least, or to make people frustrated into backtracking.Â
"Well, not necessarilyâŚ!" Tenma barely managed to avoid walking right into a mirror, though mere seconds later, he turned and bumped into another. "Ouch⌠Havenât you ever done one of those mazes in colouring books, Fei? Thereâs only one path to the end!"
Tenma figured this maze would be the same way, with only one real path, but a bunch of ways to get onto that path. No matter what, one of these paths would force them to backtrack more than likely, and get them even more lost.
"I guess⌠we can only hope weâre going the right way!" Well, if they chose the wrong path, they could always, uh⌠attempt, to find their way back. Tenma hoped they didnât get too horribly lost in this mirror maze.
They were all going to end up walking into a mirror at some point, Fei was just the first of many accidents to come. Tsurugi might've been just a very small, tiny bit grateful that he wasn't the first one to do it. His attention is pulled back to the conversation after a moment and he nudges them all forward gently, "We won't be getting anywhere if we just stand here the whole time."
Should be indication enough for Tenma to pick a corner and turn it, right? Tsurugi was at the back and like hell was he about to run up and take the lead. Not right yet, at least.
"Just pick a way. What's the worst that can happen?" Probably going to regret those words later, but right now it was the truth.
Hakuryuu found himself staring at the ceiling, his mind drifting off from the matter at hand while he waited for a reply. If Tsurugi did agree to come in the end, theyâd have a few days to spend together on their own. Heâd been thinking about making plans for then, but really, all he wanted was to spend his time lazing around at home with the other. Returning his attention to the phone, a small smile wormed onto his lips at the response.
To: Tsurugi⼠----------------- Great. I'll make room for your things and something to eat for when you arrive.
His fingers hovered over the screen before actually sending the text, considering if adding a âthank youâ would be necessary or not. He chose not to add anything more; he would make sure to thank him properly once he got there. Well, time to tidy this place up.
Tsurugi didn't bother replying, already busying himself with packing all the things he'd need for these few days to come. Not to mention the remainder of his homework and the books he needed for school, slinging both bags over his shoulder with a small sigh. School was such a pain, honestly.
That aside, and phone in his pocket, he quickly wrote up a note to leave in the kitchen before heading out and locking the door behind himself. At least the walk to Hakuryuu's apartment was quick, it was really cold out--
He shook off some shivers as he knocked, though, hands shoved deep into his coat pockets.
ă¤ăăăłďźďź by ăăŚă¤
His eyes followed the movement of his arm, unconsciously scrunching up his nose when he pulled his shirt off, almost expecting the blood around the scrape to get stuck to the fabric. Good thing it didnât.
A hand opened the first aid kit while the other went back to carefully holding Tsurugiâs arm. Looking down at the contents of the box, it didnât take him long to spot the gauzes and take a couple of them. The quicker he did this, the less it would hurt, so he promptly held the cloth to the wound and applied some light pressure for a few seconds, just to make sure the bleeding stopped.
"Iâm sorry for freaking out earlier," he muttered, red hues still fixed on the now covered scrape. That had been a terrible move on his part. He should have stayed as calm and collected ad possible, not make the situation worse by making the other worry even more. But really, was there any other way for him to react at that time? Heâd been afraid the other had been actually severely hurt. Thankfully for both, that wasnât the case.
The fingers of his free hand still toyed with the edges of the tear in his shirt; it was giving him something else to focus on. Tsurugi tensed, lips pursing as the pressure was placed on the graze, arm tensing in Hakuryuu's grasp before he relaxed and exhaled a sigh through his nose. It'd be easier if he did it faster so he was thankful that the other teen was trying to be quick about it.
Hakuryuu's words made his head lift some and he looked over, focusing on the other despite their eyes not meeting. "Don't apologize," he replied just as quietly, arm shifting the slightest in the shorter male's grasp, "I'd have probably reacted the same way in your spot, to be honest.." Not like Hakuryuu had been overreacting or anything, it was more normal to respond like that. They were both fine now and that was what mattered.
There was also a 'better me than you' in his throat but he was positive Hakuryuu wouldn't appreciate that at all. "Thank you for helping me," he decided on instead, free hand reaching (just a little awkwardly given their situation) to brush his thumb against the shorter teen's cheek.
Hunting | Tsurugi
Hakuryuu tilted his head in the slightest, his eyes drifting down to take a quick look at his legs. Well, he couldnât really deny that; he dreaded the cold after all. But it wasnât him the one wearing the skirt, so there was no point in commenting further on that, especially if he was to probably lose the argument.Â
"Fine, fine, letâs get back." A chuckle was all he offered before he took off one of his paws and approached the taller teen to grab one of the bags, holding it against his chest. "There. Little Red Riding Hood shouldnât be carrying all the weight at this point."
His legs definitely had goosebumps on them at this point, a warm shower sounded fantastic.. after he warmed up a little first, though. You'd definitely lose the argument because the default situation was Tsurugi was the one in the skirt. Check your privilege Hakuryuu.
Tsurugi almost sighed in relief at the agreement to head back to his apartment, the sudden weight lifted from one of his arms made him look up, blinking once as an eyebrow raised. That definitely wasn't the only reasoning, seeing as he'd threatened to keep all of the candy-- he didn't comment either way.
At least they'd rounded back towards the apartments around halfway through their route so the cold walk back was quicker. And once inside, Tsurugi's shivering was probably much more obvious. Fantastic.
Reunion [Closed]
A brow quirked at his words, but a low hum under his breath was the only response Tsurugi got from him. He couldnât deny he felt the tiniest bit curious about his brother, especially considering heâd never heard the other teen talk about him, but for once, he decided to keep any and all questions to himself.
"Youâre no fun sometimes," Hakuryuu commented, closing the album and leaving it on the dark haired maleâs bed. "Photos are meant to be commentedâ" A sudden sneeze cut his speech short and left him feeling dizzy for a brief moment. Really, how untimely could colds get? That had probably just made him look silly.
Not feeling like talking back anymore, he simply took care of the rest of the content in the box without paying much attention anymore, placing Tsurugiâs stuff wherever there was a free spot.
That was definitely not the only reason photos existed, it was one of the reasons but still, he'd rather not have that kind of commentary. Even, still, if it was true. Tsurugi's nose wrinkled vaguely before he looked up at the sudden sneeze, an eyebrow raising at how abruptly it'd cut off Hakuryuu's sentence before a silent snort and small chuckle managed to escape.
His head turned away to try and hide it though, preoccupying himself with emptying the final box as Hakuryuu did with the one he had. Tsurugi stood up, collapsing the box and placing it into the far back of his closet (just in case) before holding a hand out for the others box.
"Do you want some tea or something warm to drink?" Figured he should at least ask, right? It'd probably do some good with that quickly developing cold.
help (t,k,f,ten)
He was perfectly calm for starters, thank you. Â Trailing behind Tenma and Fei, Kariya slowly began to wonder how exactly this would go.. The four of them wandering in a maze made basically entirely of mirrors.
The closer they got to the entrance, the more he could imagine at least Tenma acting ridiculous in front of all the mirrors, giving them the experience of ten or more Tenmas at once. Â The thought made him quietly laugh to himself.
There they were; right outside the entrance into the maze.  He couldnât hear anything from the inside when they let the people in front of them in, nor could he see over the two in front of him, so he had no idea what they were about to experience (other than mirrors).. âTenma should lead, right?â
Bouncing on the ball of his heels, Fei couldnât help the wide smile stretching his lips, even failing to try and hide it. Fei had an idea of how a maze went but never actually been in one, so a mirror maze would be more confusing to him.
A vague thought wandered into his mind, how many times would Fei run into a mirror? Many times most likely. The others had more experience in this than him, right? Or at least thatâs what he thinksâŚ
Fei peered over Tenmaâs shoulder as they got closer and closer to the entrance until they were standing at the front. Fei could barely just see the starting of the mirrors before the question from Kariya caught his attention. âI agree but itâs Tenmaâs choice if he wants to or not.âÂ
"Eh? Me?" Well⌠it wasnât like he hadnât led this group before, though that was as Captain of Raimonâs soccer club, and not as just a group into a fun house. "Well, I donât mind. Ahâ" Well, he didnât have much choice, now, seeing as the attraction handler was beginning to usher the Roble 1 Group inside.
And so Tenma took the first step into the attraction, blinking owlishly as he looked at his reflection - which was rather impossible to avoid seeing as he was surrounded nearly 360° by mirrors. Some versions of his reflection were stretched, some were compressed, and others were just odd.
He laughed a bit, looking at everyoneâs reflections, stopping at an intersection where they could go right or left. âWhich way should we go?â
Tsurugi wasn't exactly sure Tenma's sense of direction could be relied upon, especially in a maze. But he didn't really want to lead the way himself either.. besides, getting a little lost in a mirror maze was the whole point of it, right? He didn't disagree when the two other members volunteered Tenma, shoulders shrugging once. He'd end up just following along anyways.
But the first step into the maze might've been a little disorienting. Identical copies of themselves in all directions.. it was disconcerting, and Tsurugi blinked owlishly as well. Man, mirrors were scary when they surrounded you like this.
Tenma's question made him look over, fingertips pressing against one of the mirrors at his side. "Right?" He suggested after a moment of no one answering, head turning to look behind them. When they turned some corners they wouldn't be able to see the entrance anymore. This was going to be terrible, he could already feel it.
He didnât plan on putting the phone away until he got a reply. There really was nothing else he had to do at that moment aside from waiting for a response, hoping Tsurugi agreed without much questioning.
It took him little over a second to read the text as soon as he felt his phone vibrate. Seems like he was asking for too much. Despite not having gotten a no for an answer, he still frowned lightly. Not that he wasnât expecting that question, butâŚ
To: Tsurugi⼠----------------- Not really. I have the apartment all for myself and thought it'd be nice to spend some time together.
He'd taken to spinning his pencil between fingers, slumped back comfortably against his bed, head tilted back to squint at the ceiling. Better than continuing to work on more homework, definitely. His phone going off again did make him jump, though no one would ever know, hands quickly unlocking it before squinting at the message instead.
All to himself? He had a roommate didn't he-- Amemiya, right? Though, well, he was vaguely aware of the other teen's.. sickness? If that was the right way to word it. Tsurugi wouldn't pry either way.
To: Hakuryuu ----------------- Sounds good to me. I'll pack up some stuff and head over, then.
Phone slid shut and Tsurugi pushed himself to his feet, stretching with a groan. Some clothes, school uniform.. books and whatever. He made a mental note to tell the rest of Roble 1 he'd be gone a few days, too.
