Fuji has two familiars, one being a mamushi snake named aika, and a barn owl named asuka. However both familiars are tied to her magic, aika is housed within a sigil placed upon Fuji's hip and asuka is housed within a sigil upon the nape of her neck, aika is very shy in nature but asuka ,,, he's mean ,,,

can i just say that i think lucas is one of the best well written characters out of the virche cast purely because they express his true intentions and the hand he's forced so. heart wrenchingly well? but he's also given such a dirty hand in narrative because at the end of the day he's a victim? idk i can never forgive them for making the victim die for the things he was literally forced via drug overdosing + brainwashing / grooming to do. yes, the things he did doesn't absolve him from all the deaths he's caused but ... it's also not fair when you realize he cries himself to sleep every night about what he has to do / has done. he doesn't want forgiveness, he doesn't want to be graced w. the thought of ' salvation ' because he knows what he's doing is wrong but he's sacrificing his own control for the sake of saving his sister's life. and yet, little does he know that she's being used for sicK n twisted experiments bc this doctor that groomed lucas is a god damn FREAK of nature.

i can talk for hours about lucas and his whole character n tropes, but it will make me burst into tears if i do.
