I’ve been taking notes on what exactly she gets upset with me about. I’ve found the biggest thing that upset her is: the process I take to do things. She gets pissed when I don’t do it the way she would’ve done it. Even if the result is the same. I follow google maps - she’s pissed that I didn’t take the route she wanted. Why? Because “google isn’t always right. Would you follow it if it told you to turn off a cliff?” No - google isn’t always right. But most of the time it is. And when I deviate from Google’s directions - “why would you go this way. It told you where to turn!” Narcissist to the core.

God what a fucking bitch. What. A. Fucking. Bitch.

Conversation is had where I explain a time and event. Several hours pass. I’m later questioned by her that the prior conversation was not understood. When I asked why nothing was said - her says: “do you ever think about the way you talk to people? You just assume everything is ok.”

Yep...my fault you don’t pay attention and ask questions when someone is talking to you. The real issue - when someone is talking to you, you don’t pay attention because you have ZERO respect for what ANYONE is saying to you (especially criticism but that’s another post). You hear what you want - and you ALWAYS have. This is nothing new. You been this way since you got into the phase of our relationship where you felt YOUR OPINION was more important than the relationship itself. This is why there’s no reasoning with you - by anyone, including friends —> it’s because you have always believed your opinions are more important. Take a look at your life and take notice of how many friends that you speak with on a “several times a week” basis always seem to fall off after a few years. Not a coincidence.

Looking for the last 11 months of ATT bills. Can’t find them. I file them - never have to refer back to them bc I don’t pay the bills. We are looking to buy a new phone for DD. Question comes up for how much the bill is currently. I go to retrieve the bills I file and never look at again. Last 11 months are missing. I ask “have you pulled these bills?” Her “no. You probably never filed them. There’s 2 years of stuff in the kitchen to be filed.” I check said kitchen. There is less than the most recent month’s worth of bills. I advise of this and her response “bullshit I just looked thru that stuff looking for the Amazon gift card. There’s stuff in there from 2 years ago.”

I too just looked thru it for the Amazon gift card. There’s nothing in there that’s 2 years old. There’s also nothing more than the last few weeks of bills. Her “I don’t know how this is my problem” - she said as she shifted her weight on the couch to get more comfortable and clearly hasn’t done, nor intends to do, anything.

Me: “at what point did I say it was your problem? I’m the one looking into it.” Her: “well there’s lots of problems you haven’t looked into but those don’t affect you.”

Actually it does affect me. As one of your regularly scheduled, disrespectful pot-shots...it affects me. This problem, finding the bill, that’s my current problem. The fact that you believe you do so much - yet don’t lift a finger for anything from 6:30-500 M-F and most of the times outside of this - is also my problem. HOWEVER - Your insistence on making this a painful marriage that’s devoid of actual feelings, forgiveness and love simply because you’re just like your cold-hearted, vengeful, hateful mother......THAT is your problem.

It’s amazing how someone can so incredibly influence their children’s behaviors just in the words they choose when speaking to others. Yet somehow not difficult to believe considering the source. When you’re told by DD to “shut up” - something my father would have backhanded me for doing (I gave enough respect to not even think of saying it as a joke or in jest).......and then not 10 minutes later, in front of our DD, you’re told by the darling Mrs that “something is leaking from the car....I know you don’t pay much attention to that kind of stuff”. Gee - I wonder where she would learn such an incredible level of disrespect.

1) I drive 95% of the time. Thus when a car has moved from its parking spot - I’m usually in the goddamn thing....not looking for fucking leaks.

2) I ask “where is it leaking from? Front? Back? Drivers side...?” She responds “drivers side......but then I also just had the hose on so it’s kinda hard to tell”

3) Or it’s not kinda hard to tell because I just had this vehicle pulled into the driveway yesterday, and after pulling it into the garage, I walked back into the driveway and there were no leaks other than the condensation generated from the A/C (it’s been high 80s all week). You simply make it “hard to tell if there’s a leak” because - just like your mother - you’re paranoid that something is wrong and feel that time needs to be wasted investigating your paranoia. Guess what - I didn’t look into it after you told me. I proactively investigated it the day before - so fuck off with your paranoia.

I will never understand people who shove emotion and meaning into trivial moments. If a load of laundry is smaller than how you may do it - why complain? Did you have to do it? Did you have to do anything other than find a fault and complain about it? Do you not realize how you have just as many faults that could be given reciprocated attention? 1) micromanaging, 2) fault-finding, 3) blaming others’ actions when you’ve failed to act yourself, 4) narcissistic mentality (narcissists often fail to comprehend this...but since you’re guilty of the first 3 points - you’re absolutely a narcissist.....hate to be the bearer of bad news).

We all have faults - I’m guilty of my own - but you and people like you are 💯 guilty of the environment you build around you. Ever wonder why you have to jump from friend to friend over the years? You actually think it’s because of them? Of course you do - because you’ve always found faults or blamed others for events. You only accept responsibility for failures in a relationship when you want to give the false belief that you’re a self-aware person to others in an attempt to pull on them emotionally. The truth is - you don’t believe you have faults. You devoid yourself of attaching yourself to anyone emotionally (unless you’re directly related to them). You specifically limit exposure of yourself because you are - get ready for it - an EXTREMELY WEAK person. You could point to this and call it weak....but that’s only to distract yourself from the truth. It’s easier for you to judge and protect your ego than for you to be judged, including self-judgement. That’s ok - as I said, we all have our faults. Sooner or later - we all have to answer to, and be judged by someone for our actions, beliefs and sins.

Hypocrites kill me. Nothing like those closest to you - getting irritated and angry for the very same behaviors that that themselves exhibit. Narcissists.

How is it possible for someone to dominate your time with irrelevant self-serving requests, tasks and questions to only ask “what have you been doing all of this time?”

Ever have a “relationship” with someone.....or even just know someone...who makes everything into a fight? Almost to the point where they bring up a topic or mention something so that you will comment......and upon making your comment, they pounce on your response with a ‘dagger and death’ attitude?

And they do this so regularly that you avoid engaging in conversation, simply because it’s not worth the headache. On top of this - they notice that you avoid them and avoid engaging in conversation - and then they begin to dig at your lack of engagement. “You never have anything to say! Who does that?!” Well.....people who aren’t in the mood to fight 24/7.

So.....they’re hostile. You divert and avoid. And then they’re hateful for you avoiding. Oh......and why not call them out for their behavior? By this point in the relationship, the reasoning is clear = they’re so incredibly narcissistic that the whole reason you got to the first point (where they make a fight of everything) is because any time you do bring something up, your comments/thoughts/feelings are, quite simply, wrong (in the eyes of the narcissistic party).

Narcissistic? Yes. 100%. That’s how narcissists work. Their points, arguments, POVs are all valid and justified (in their own mind of course). Your points, and such, are trash and without merit. Moreover, they are even further justified in their POV bc narcissists are typically extroverted and have amassed a small network of ‘friends’ who are, for lack of a better term, sheep, who follow, head nod and otherwise agree with them because they too recognize their overbearing personality. And since they don’t deal with them on a day in/day out basis - they, again, nod their heads and agree with them. Because just like you - they believe active pacification is the only, non-professional (meaning: non-therapist, non-psychologist, etc) way of dealing with this personality-type.

So.........what do you do? Tell them off and ignite a war that you are guaranteed to lose? Do you continue to pacify (avoid, etc)?

What’s the best way to deal with this type of personality?

There are people on this earth who are big enough assholes that deserve COVID

Some days...

I just want to put a bullet in my head. So tired of people holding the world accountable when they 1) don’t hold themselves accountable and 2) have little to no responsibility to anything. Comfortable making everyone else uncomfortable, without pushing themselves to be uncomfortable. Fucking sickening.

Surreal moment.....

Telling the boss a week ago that a project is going to be late because I’m waiting on XYZ.

She says “ok great I really appreciate you letting me know. These deadlines are flexible so no big deal.”

4 days later I’m pulled aside, by this same person, and asked “why is this late? I can’t understand how you missed this deadline. I really need you to explain to me why that is. I understand I said it was no big deal - but I can’t understand why it’s late.”

I swear to fucking god it was like I had an out of body experience. Seriously what in the fuck just happened? Are you kidding me?! ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!?! And it’s not like she forgot what I said or forgot she acknowledged it 4 whole days ago.......because she just reiterated the events from earlier in the week.....but flips her fucking switch and wants to be bad cop all of the sudden?!?!?! What in the fucking hell?!? Take your goddamn fucking medications.

“That should get done before you leave today”...

Fuck you. I’m not 8, it’s not 1950, and I’m not your fucking lap dog. Last I checked - you gave me a laptop for a reason. Go fall down a flight of stairs.

....and my boss keeps sending me IMs. Hey you dumb cunt - I’m on vacation. For 2 fucking weeks. I will drag your overbearing micromanaging cunt ass to HR when I get back.
