NECA has recently unveiled one of their exclusives that they will releasing at San Diego Comic Con 2018. As a followup to their previous figure box sets based on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise, they will now be releasing a set of 7 Inch figures based on the turtles featured in the 1990 live-action film.

The turtles will be available in two sets, which include a single boxset with the turtles priced at $125 and a Street Scene Diorama and Action Figure Set priced at $250. The single boxset will have a limited quantity of 5000 pieces while the diorama & figure set will have a limited quantity of 2000 pieces.

The figures will be released in a special VHS styled box based on the VHS release of the original film and will include a huge variety of accessories.

Those who aren’t able to attend SDCC 2018, the figures as well as the set will be available at the NECA store on June 6-June 8 with pre-orders opening at 1 P.M. EST (10 A.M. PST) daily.

SDCC 2018 will be held at the San Diego Convention Center on Thursday, July 19-Sunday, July 22.

Toei has recently announced a new spinoff project, which features several well known Toku actresses.

The new project titled, “Hero Mama League,” will feature:

Nao Nagasawa: Hurricane Blue

Ayumi Kinoshita: Deka Yelow

Ayumi Beppu: Magi Pink

The staff includes:

Hachiharu Tomomi: Original Work

Koichiro Hayama: Director

Hidenori Kuwabara: Sound Design

Masahiro Murase: Stylest

Fumio Matsumura: Camera Operator

The film revolves around the three sentai heroines as mothers who must focus on their heroic duties while balancing their time with both their work and taking care of their families. Things soon turn worse as the evil Space Shinobu Demost appears to take over the Earth.

The film will serve as a prologue to the upcoming KyuRanger VS Space Squad film.

Hero Mama League is set to release on the Toei Net Fan Club website on May 13.
