Here you will encounter a large scale woodcut prints where in compositions, I am using the images from everyday observations that occurs throughout my surroundings. The inspiration is from the everyday objects which are related to my personal use, the landscape around me, cultural, and political discourses, preoccupied memory which creates an impact upon me and my thought process. The narrations that are composed are mostly to explore the growing influx of events in my daily life and to examine how their proliferation constantly changes and how this builds relationships among objects, time, and memories. Today we got to visit the New National Museum, which is still not usually open to the public. They are currently working with mounting the exhibitions. We visited the collection of drawings and prints, and got to see van Gogh drawings close up. In the end we tested the digital drawing tools the museum will use when it opens. The New National Museum is something to look forward to opening, it looks great.
