Jeff Buckley November 17, 1966 – May 29, 1997
20 years ago Jeff Buckley gazed at the stars, gently floating on his back, singing Whole Lotta Love, as he floated further into the Mississippi River and out of this world forever. Jeff, we are eternally grateful for the music you created and for beautifully bestowing upon us your stunning voice, which has continued to live on despite your absence. You will forever live in the hearts of those who are still listening, you are the rhythm to our very soul and we will carry you with us wherever we go.
I miss you...
Chris Cornell with Jeff Buckley May 1996. Rest In Peace Chris Cornell, say hello to Jeff for us. “When you start thinking about fate and a sense of God or cosmos, it just seems that positive and amazing people should be allowed to have their lives, because so many negative things happen all the time. With Jeff, I’d forgotten that people can die by accident. I thought everybody died because they were self-destructive and did too many drugs or shot themselves. We’ve already had a bunch of dead young people. We didn’t need to lose another one. But then, I guess there’s no quota on young people dying.” Chris Cornell
RIP CHRIS! 2 of my favorite artists and biggest influence. Gone but not forgotten.
