Report: good news
Guess what nerds. Preliminary report: NO CANCER. It seems to be some sort of horrific lung infection in an abscess, which is probably a nightmare in itself to get rid of, but fuckthatNOT CANCER!
Thank you for your help, your love, your badass Kung Fu. I love you, ❤️
The biopsy will tell if it's actually cancer or something else like massive infection.
Brain scan is totally clear! Whole bunch of doctors çame in super nice, biopsy planned as soon as the potassium IV s are stabilized.
Maybe not knowing is better.
I'm in the hospital. I came because my potassium was so low. They did a chest x-ray and had to sit me down to tell me a lung was full of malignant cancer. Now they did a brain scan to see if it got in my brain. No one has told me the results yet. They just told me a few hours ago I don't know how I feel or what I can do. What can you do when they tell you, oh, btw, you have cancer, a ton of it, surprise! I'll see a pulmonologist too. Any good thoughts, thank you.
❤️
Guys
You may notice-
Tumblr does not refresh automatically on you, move your page, and make you lose your post. BWAHHAHhahahahahhhah
No matter how progressive or well-read you are, there are always going to be moments in your life where somebody pushes back against something that's so culturally ingrained you never even considered it before. And you'll say "Huh, it never occurred to me to challenge this but you're right" and that doesn't mean you were "morally toxic" before, it means you're a non-omniscient human capable of growth.
Step 1: old post picks up steam again
Step 2: influx of new followers from another village
Step 3: check for a pulse on each

what does the revolution must not be televised mean?
He just casually gave us like 20 gems. It's the graceful intent of black poets that keeps oral history of our people going.
[Transcript:
Well, you know, the—the—the catch phrase, what that was all about, "the revolution will not be televised," that was about the fact that the first change that takes place is in your mind. You have to change your mind before you change the way you live and the way you move. So when we said that the revolution will not be televised, we were saying that like... that—that—that the thing that's going to change people... is something that no one will ever be able to capture on film. It will just be something that you see and all of a sudden you realise, "I'm on the wrong page," or "I'm on the right page but I'm on the wrong note. And I've got to get in sync with everyone else to understand what is happening in this country." But I think that the Black Americans have been the—the only real die-hard Americans here, because we're the only ones who... who carried the process through the process, that everyone else has to sort of like... skip stages. We're the ones who marched, we're the ones who carried the bible, we're the ones who carried the flag, we're the ones who tried to go through the courts, and—and—and being born American didn't—didn't seem to matter. Because we were born Americans but we still had to fight for what we were looking for. And we still had to go through those challenges and those processes.]
