Disheartened

The first "Tired" is regarding someone more recent. The rest of the "Tired" lines are about someone else who I've been chatting to for some months.

Tired of chasing others.. who don't keep their word/plans.. when seemingly we had good genuine conversation and connection.

Tired of being overlooked by people who I make the genuine authentic effort for.. to see potential.. for friends.. for dates.

Tired of giving them space when they have too much going on for those things.. then coming back and making real plans when they're ready.. for them to cancel because they have too much going on again..

Tired of being there for people who aren't there for me.

Tired of falling into the trap of being interested in people at the wrong time..

Tired of keeping my hopes up because of having genuine conversations about being friends and dating..

Tired of having  patience for others then seeing that that they've been on a date with someone else, or found someone else.
