Sydney's Portrait: When looking at this picture, I get the feeling of sacredness, lost, loneliness and confusion. They way she layered the trees over her face makes me feel hidden, like she's hiding something. I really like the overall idea/product of her image. I really like how she used the black and white sketch effect because to me this is what made the image. By softening her portrait but sharpening the trees.
Finn's Portrait: From this image, I take on the feelings of control, confusion, lost, crazy, and it looks like he is dominating the world. By using the same image and just changing the color of his shirt it gravitates us to think why he chose to do this. What was the emotion he wanted to show? I also feel like this picture is about a man dominating the world- almost like a super hero. But also I feel that he is scared because he had writing over his mouth.
Immy's Portrait: This images shows 2 different cities; New York City and Paris. It shows us the differences of these two very similar cities. Her portraits border the edges which makes us feel like she is torn between the two places. I really like how she used the black and white effect to make her image calmer. Overall, this is one of my favorite portraits.
