black people did y’all see what monique said about wearing bonnets out the house 😐😒
Yup and I’m more disgusted by her now than ever before. Sorry not sorry but someone like Monique can’t tell me how to be a queen.
There has been a lot of commentary about Black women wearing house wear (bonnets, slippers, etc) in public spaces (grocery stores, airports, etc) and while I personally wouldn’t go anywhere dressed in such, nor do I necessarily want to be with others dressed in such, I don’t necessarily have a problem with it bc I don’t care. I may not care for how it looks, but I won’t even think about again, 5 seconds after I notice it.
I think y’all enjoy policing Black women a wee bit too much. Especially since, as soon as a designer of a major label slaps some bonnets and “Chinese slippers” on white models walking the runway, it’ll be considered high fashion and everyone will be wearing them out and about.
Black women are currently policing other black women and it’s sad. Very sad.
Bonnet discourse is stupid and obviously targeted towards black women
This part right here is very important. It’s respectability politics and I cannot stand it. Because I’ve yet to see a discussion on du rags in public and no one is taking pictures of white women wearing their pajamas in public and applying for jobs so I don’t wanna hear nonsense about black women aren’t queening when wearing a bonnet publicly.
Let black women wear our bonnets in peace. Stop policing us!
Is…there really such vitriolic discourse about black women going well outside their house wearing bonnets, headscarves, and sometimes pajamas and house slippers?
And is so much of it really coming from our fellow sisters, talking some mess about, “One of us represents all of us/You and your dress represents black women as a whole” (to paraphrase)?
I just…is that really going on? Does it never end?
Yes this is exactly what’s going on. I’ll be on a podcast talking about this cuz apparently I’m the only one who doesn’t see a problem with it. Mo’nique really made statement saying that she’s tired of seeing us black women out in public with our bonnets. It just sounds like respectability politics and validation seeking.
restaurant: sorry we stop serving at 8
me: honey i never stop serving
I don’t know if this has been posted here yet but y’know Viking man from the DC mob? The one they are claiming is ANTIFA?
His name is Jake Angeli. He’s a Qanon trump supporter. Here’s that photo uncropped.
And here’s another photo of the “Qanon shaman”
This man isn’t an “antifa BLM” supporter. He’s a trump supporting new nazi.
More, January 6 2021.
all of us circa two weeks ago and all of us now
the mob yelling and referring to police as “traitors” for removing them additionally confirms the real purpose of the police force in the nation: protection of the privileged. These individuals are feeling betrayed by the police because they knew that their whiteness and their conservative viewpoints would cloak them in a form of protection from the police, which it did. The police’s refusal to use force and their allowance of this mob to access the capital was done out of a sense of loyalty to these insurrectionists and the ideals that they are acting for. Behind the masks theyre on the same side and the protestors were banking and are still leaning on that.
Terrorism is defined in the Code of Federal Regulations as “the unlawful use of force and violence against persons or property to intimidate or coerce a government, the civilian population, or any segment thereof, in furtherance of political or social objectives.” — 28 C.F.R. Section 0.85
"when the looting starts, the shooting starts"
... So what are yall waiting for racist pigs? Where's that shooting at?
But what is he going to do with a podium ?
DONT FALL FOR THIS
If you see someone using this image to “prove” that the attack on capitol was orchestrated by antifa, don’t believe it. the man with the short hair is Matthew Heimbach. He is a neo-nazi, and planned the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville. Click here for his wiki article. He was posted on the Philly antifa website to announce him as a nazi.
Here is the second fake photo.
This man was NOT a pro-BLM protestor. Here is the full version of the picture on the right.
This man is Jake Angeli. He is a QAnon influencer, also called the “Q Shaman.” Q (Qanon) is a far-right conspiracy theory. You can read more about it here.
Here are some links about him:
