sorry we made your boyfriend into an infinitesimally small eplison. yeah we let f(x) be a function defined on an interval that contains x = a. and we let the limit of f(x) be defined as L if for every epsilon greater than 0 there’s also a delta greater than 0. and if delta is greater than the absolute difference of x and a then epsilon is greater that the absolute difference of the function and the limit. yeah sorry he’s part of the delta epsilon limit definition now.
