Hi, I have a question about the ultimate decades challenge. Did you build the world you are playing on or did you download it somewhere?

I'm so sorry I'm just now seeing this! Haven't been too active on Tumblr lately.

When I started the challenge I started in a blank world save file (I think it was the one by srslysims). I built my main family's home. All of the other lots I use for my side families I have just downloaded from the gallery, by searching by tag for medieval lots.

Year 1316

It marks the second year of the Famine and boy it is tough. The one-meal-a-day thing is the worst part. Everyone is hungry ALL. THE. TIME. And everyone is always in a bad mood because of it. There were no other events of note this year. And then the Great Famine continues...

Year 1315

It is the dreaded year 1315. This year marks the start of the Great Famine. Oh boy. For the 3 years of the Famine the family cannot grow any crops, they must sell all of their livestock, and they can only eat one meal a day. It is going to be an adjustment. In addition to the big event, there were a few birthdays of note. The oldest living generation 2 child, Leif Payne, aged up to a teen and survived his roll. One of Arne and Petra's children, Rogue Payne, aged up into a child successfully. Arne and Petra also had their adult birthdays and those were also successful. Onto the next!

Year 1314

It was nice to have another somewhat calm year. We only had a couple of birthdays. Arne and Petra's two youngest little ones, Bogdana and Galileo aged up into toddlers. They survived and made it onto the next life stage alive. This year marks the last year before we move on to the start of the Great Famine.

This was literally the quietest year. No one was born, no one had a birthday, no one got married, and more importantly, no one died. This really is the calm before the storm because the Great Famine is on the horizon...

Year 1312

This year felt very eventful in some ways. There were quite a few birthdays. Arne & Mary's triplets, Beatriz, Benedict, and Elric all aged up into children and all survived their rolls (whew). In addition to them, Arne & Petra's youngest child, Jeremiah, aged up into a toddler. Petra also gave birth to her and Arne's newest kids. She had a set of triplets, named Bogdana, Piers, and Galileo Payne. Mom came out happy and healthy, but unfortunately, one the babies did not. Little Piers did not survive and was stillborn.

Year 1311

The start of the new decade! And the year turned out pretty good to top it off. Annora Payne aged up to a child and her younger half-brother, Rogue Payne aged up to a toddler. It’s good to see the kids growing up (and not dying). There also was a birth in the family. Arne and Petra welcomed little Jeremiah Payne to the world. Mom and baby both survived through the birth process.

Year 1310

The decades closes out on this nice calmness. The quiet is very much appreciated after far too many rough years at the start of the decade. This year saw Dorothy Mannering age up into a child. Thankful that she lived through her toddler years. She is the last living child of John Mannering, and Dorothy is the heir who’s going to carry his legacy. As long as she makes it...

Year 1309

Thankfully, this was a calm year for the family. They definitely needed it. There was really only one thing of interest that occurred and that was the addition of a new family member. Rogue Payne was born and brought into the world. This became the first child born of Arne and Petra to live through child birth.
