I really thought that warmode would be fun like, it looks like fun running into horde players your level and attacking them as they’re attacking you to make wow feel more real, but of course I was an idiot for thinking it’d be like that. so far, the very moment I decided to try it out, fifteen level 110 hordes were hiding in westfall and attacking and killing every defenseless low level they see, they were even CAMPING THE GRAVEYARD. I thought it was kind of hilarious since that’s actually a pretty tragic thing to do, so my ghost just sits and watches these losers think they’re funny/all that for killing level 10-30s. it was kind of fun going somewhere else and trying my hardest to avoid level ?? horde I see, until it turns out that there were only high level horde in the areas with all of them being ??. level 110 hordes were constantly camping at places where you get quests, this time not only killing the quest givers, but also you, someone who has no hope in defending yourself and out running them. every single horde other than one who attacked me (that was fun, not getting overpowered for once in something completely unfair) was an unknown level, I was that low and they were that high. you don’t get anything out of killing players who are much lower than you are, by the way, so they’re doing this only to be dicks and slow you down. I wasn’t going to make this stupid post, but my ptsd ass got slightly #triggered because this very specific thing happened to me irl and traumatized me and I won’t say what happened to me irl, but in game this of course ?? horde attacked me and I ACTUALLY got to get away, and they obsessively started to stalk me and get more people to do the same for almost 10 minutes just to get the satisfaction of killing someone who’s no match for 3 ?? horde. you can guess what it reminded me of irl, I came very very close to breaking down right there because a dumb group of selfish people in a game brought back terrible memories, something needs to be done about players who ruin an entire aspect of a game because they’re just awful people.
