im seeing some discourse about how "Tyler" and "Clancy" have to be two separate people in the world of Trench because Clancy describes seeing the events of the Jumpsuit music video in his letters. But here's the thing. I haven't seen the video in a while, I could be wrong—but right after "Tyler" gets smeared, there's this flash of the vulture, isn't there?

And doesn't Clancy say in his letters "the out of body experience with the rider" and something about "feeling of flying?" How do we know whatever the bishop smeared Tyler-but-actually-Clancy with didn't do some freaky possess-a-vulture vialism thing? And then he was watching events outside of himself, as the vulture?

This theory probably has holes, but I feel like the idea that both Tyler and Clancy are separately in Dema has more holes

So I thought that Tyler WAS Clancy BUT: I've just read some of the Clancy letters and in one of them he talks about seeing Tyler in Trench and recounts the events of the Jumpsuit music video (him walking in Trench, seeing the Banditos, Nico tracking him down, smearing his neck and recapturing him). So Clancy is watching this happen, therefore, they are two different people. I don't know what to do with this information.
