It’s been a long time coming, but here’s Pink Diamond for @bdjjbagemsevent more info and design tidbits under the cut

A once cold and fierce leader, Pink Diamond has seemed to soften since he started to observe earth and its inhabitants, leading to many changes within his authority- from the creation of the human zoo to the more lenient allowance of fusion outside of battle. He still gives off the impression of an uncaring, calculating leader among his fellow diamonds, but to those in his court he shows compassion, though between everyone there's very few people he can completely trust... and those that he does know of his dark secret; the corruption that's slowly eating away at him. This is the cause for a hidden study behind the scenes, in which his trusted companions would essentially 'steal' corrupted gems to observe in hopes of figuring out a way to either stop or control the spreading decay of their diamond. As tensions are rising between the diamonds and the current war with the rebels, it's becoming increasingly harder to keep his secret hidden from his fellow rulers, and how long would it be till they find out and sentence him to his final days?

The reason for PD’s corruption is unknown, or rather he refuses to share, but here’s a full-body reference of his ‘current’ corrupted status as well as a facial close-up for details (as he hides his face under the cloth)

Bixbite ( or Red Beryl) is the closest Gem to Pink Diamond @decentlydrawndiavolo. She’s it’s right hand and will likely talk for Pink Diamond itself. 

Recently, she saved a corrupted gem from shattering @poorly-drawn-dinopants. Ever since, they’re as close as they can be in homeworld. Pink Diamond even allows them to fuse for battle, Labradorite and Bixbite become Bi-colour Tourmaline.

Needless to say, she’s a high rank gem and will likely help her Diamond out until she dies.

Villain vs redemption arc Turquoise!!

(For the gem event starting (in this timezone) tomorrow!)

(Narancia is just… A ruby. A regular, bog-standard, run-of-the-mill, unremarkable ruby; fashion choices and lack of short-shorts aside. Living out his simple life, stabbing bad guys with his simple knife - said bad guys being whoever he’s told is the bad guy, whoever talks down to him and his friends (which would be a lot of gems), or anybody that just kinda looks like they’re being a bully.)

( … This, astonishingly, gets him into a lot of trouble, and poofing is very frequent, seeing as he never really tries to cut his losses. Combined with his apparent inability to grasp things like operating shuttles and other tech, he’s not entirely endearing to superiors.)

(He’s also absent-minded, and even regularly forgets who it is he’s even supposed to be serving under - Pink Diamond? Maybe? It doesn’t matter much to him.)

(Not much matters to him a great deal, really, other than being a part of his li'l unit, and generally trying and failing to stick up for others in their messed up, class obsessed society, even when it makes zero sense.)

Hello~ Rubellites here! Let’s just say I got a little sick of other gems on homeworld treating my buddy here, Rubellite Diav, terribly! It’s not his fault he came out a lil taller than an ideal Rubellite like myself. Anyways, homeworld, I doubt you’ll miss us but we gotta go!

Names: Rubellites Cuts 1XG (Doppio) and 2XF (Diavolo). Doppio and Diavolo used to be a retrieval/hunting team working under Pink Diamond! Doppio’s weapon is a gun that shoots nets, while Diavolo’s is a cat o’ nine tails whip. Doppio is an ideal version of his gem, while Diavolo formed incorrectly. Diavolo works under Doppio yet Doppio greatly respects Diavolo. Diav, in addition to physical differences, also does not hold loyalty to the Diamonds. He hates working for those who see him as lesser and convinced Doppio to rebel. They now travel the galaxy looking for things to entertain their journey (and also try not to get caught by homeworld gems). Who knows what life has in store for these rebels, but you better watch out because they make a great team (in more than one way). @bdjjbagemsevent​ ((more refs under the cut! I’m not really sure if i’ll be able to participate on the @bdjjbagemsevent , but take a gem Yasuho and gem Tsurugi.

Yasuho is a Soft Pink Tourmaline and Tsurugi is an Orange Chaceldony. Tourmaline is a gem made for navigation, so her gem can make projections, like maps, and she can also predict diferent futures. Chaceldony is an exploration gem, so she can make alive things from paper, and summon a pair of paper wings on their back.

They both were sent to explore a distant planet (earth) by their diamond, Pink Diamond. At the end, they got stuck on earth, and sent a help message, but homeworld never answered back.

They’re not part of the rebellion, they are just searching a way to go back to homeworld.
