“hey! sure,” madhuri agrees, flashing a friendly smile declan’s way, and when he compliments her speech, she gives a humble little shrug of her shoulders. “thank you, one can only hope for the best, you know?” she focuses in on him while he divulges his need for a schedule to her, and gives a small gasp, clapping her hands together once and pointing at him. “yes! that’s actually still in the works. thank you for reminding me. we only just confirmed the final venues for the end of the run, and now i’m waiting on a few studios from those cities to get back to me with their availability. so as soon as i have those in, i’ll have melinda put a schedule together for you. but honestly?” she drops her hands to her sides and shrugs. “i also want you guys to get on that naturally. any time y’all feel like vibing in a studio, or if you get some inspiration and wanna get to work with someone, just let me know. i’ll make it happen. you feel me?”
“okay, thanks, that sounds perfect!” declan nods enthusiastically, satisfied to hear what he was hoping. “i definitely feel like it’s usually better when it’s spontaneous. you know, i’ve worked with a few people while they were on tour before and it’s usually all within a really tight schedule. but then again, i was never actually on the tour with the artists, so i suppose it makes sense that we have a bit more freedom,” he explains, though unsure why he’s waisting madhuri’s time with his life story. that’s just how declan worked — he could talk for days about completely useless things. “anyway, how are you holding up? want to pull your hair out yet? i feel like managers always have to deal with the worst shit.”
