Simon found himself anticipating the new tour, to finally be out on the road with Unapologetics was something that he was genuinely looking forward to. During the hiatus he found himself mostly doing security for clubs and small town gigs in California. There was nothing quite like the open road, something that he could just simply lose himself as the miles flew by him. As he was about to finish packing, he decided there was a well needed break in hand. Walking around the buses that waited for them to depart within the next few days, he allowed himself to stretch his legs. Seeing another person within the vicinity, he walked up to them with his hands in his pocket. “You know,” he spoke casually, “I need some help with packing. Do I bring the eight inch or twelve inch dildo? What is your opinion on that?”
with earbuds mufflings any sounds in his surroundings, declan sits alone in the lounge area of the tour bus. he’s so disconnected from the world, eyes glued to his phone as he analyzes the songs that compose the spotify playlist he just found ( filled with the greatest hits from the 80s, of course ), that he doesn’t notice someone else walks inside. they’re right on time to catch declan bopping his head to ‘karma chameleon’ and humming the chorus a little too loud, before he finally notices he’s being watched. his eyes widen and he rapidly clears his throat, unable to keep an embarrassed laugh from escaping his lips as he removes the earbuds. “um, hi,” he blurts out. “how long have you been there?”
ephraim bounds up to a hotel room door that’s clearly n o t his own, sporting a pair of soft jogging shorts ( which he’s never actually used for jogging and never will ), a faded, oversized t-shirt, and some cheap flip flops. his curls are pushed back with a rolled handkerchief, and he’s not wearing any makeup because it’s TEN in the evening and ephraim has absolutely no intention of going out tonight. there’s a copy of ❛ everything is illuminated ❜ tucked underneath one arm; oh -- - and let’s not forget the toeing-the-line-of-obscene amount of toni moli masks loaded in the other. eleven, to be exact, ranging from avocado to red wine to cherry blossom to several more. curled fingers knock gently against the door and ephraim’s fully prepared to give a hurried ❛ i’ve got face masks and we can order room service and then maybe watch a movie or just chill because i also brought a book with me for some reason ❜ once it opens. HOPEFULLY, he’s gotten the room number right.
