thought, "lol, i could make this about our dnd campaign's most recent arc! i will do a five minute doodle about it!"

i did not do a five minute doodle. it has been three days. i am unreasonably pleased with myself. take it!

More inktober stuff. Doodles this time. Prompts 2 thru 5: Mindless, Bait, Freeze, and Build.

I have never tried to do Inktober before, but it’s worth a shot - though, like, forward warning I’ll be doing like...one piece a week, probably, not one a day. I’m a little too slow for one a day.

Here’s prompt 1: “Ring”. Our DnD characters refuse to call anyone on their individual stones - it’s a group call via one stone, or nought, so the NPCs dread their stone ringing.

i’m struggling with my art atm, so i’m planning on doodling up a couple of expressions from sailor moon with my dnd character, Ianto, so here’s the first. more may follow, we’ll see.

Finally finished working on Ianto's staff and brooch, and decided to doodle a teeny picture of him using it too, because I'm still getting used to the pen on my phone (but I'm getting there!) His pose is inspired by one from the Sailor Moon manga, because why go halfway with the magical girl shit, right? Still need to work harder on lighting effects, but it's a doodle for fun, I'll live.

Massive, massive thanks to @andersam5 for the stained glass tutorial she posted, I spent so long trying to work out how to get the textures to look right and her guide saved me so much stress! Thank you so much!!

I had a lot of fun playing around and designing these magical girl looking staffs and transformation objects for my dnd character. Which was exciting because I usually get too in my head about design and end up hating it all.

The characters my friends and I play in our D&D session, alongside phases of the sky - sunrise through night skies. I learned a lot regarding colouring while making these.
