Moonstone and Turquoise updates. Moonstone’s probably going to be redrawn at some point, if only to play around with their colour scheme.
My gemsona is such a weird clutter of shapes but he works them. Let this be a lesson to all tiny gems: if one of you's the living embodiment of a square and the other's a bunch of noodly ovals, you WILL turn into a gem the size of you combined if you stood on each other's shoulders - but you'll pay the price of tallness by being given gigantic hips, thunder thighs, and tiny noodle arms. Don't be a Pyrope, kids. Your hips'll get you jammed in doorways.
So I finally finished this! It has taken...over a month, if not more, but I am ecstatic with the results. Possibly one of the best pieces I've ever produced. I'll put up a comparison to the original piece I based this on in a little while...
I stopped drawing Metty at the wrong moment and this may have become the best expression I've ever accidentally drawn as a result.
I might colour this later. Mostly I just wanted to work on a relatively quick couple pose. So here, have a Merc dancing with his teeny boyfriend Tom. Tom can't dance, so he's standing on Merc's feet because why not? I mean, Merc can't dance either but he IS good at pretending...
