This man will always have a special place in my soul, and don't see him pop up on the 'Gram very often. ___ Years ago, my very first Ajarn Chai seminar in Oregon, I was so nervous and had no idea what I was getting into or what to expect, but I remember the very first time Ajarn stood in front of me. Here was this ethereal little man that trained with Bruce Lee, and he's watching me flail miserably at a pretty straight-forward 4-count set, (@bking28 trying not to laugh while holding the pads for me). I was so bummed, but he very quietly gave this little smile, nodded and moved on. I'll never forget how embarrassed I felt, and that I knew he didn't care or judge. And that he smelled like flowers & clove. ___ Years later, another seminar, and had a rare chance to speak with Chai directly for a moment, just to say thank you for all his time and knowledge. ___ as I said the words, the years of struggle, pain, growth and accomplishment just welled up in me & couldn't hold it back. In that moment, tears in front of that same ethereal little legend, he remembered me, knew how much thai boxing had changed me, and he just smiled that same, knowing smile of wisdom and gave me the biggest hug. Easiest AM Meal-prep Ever: Fajita Egg cups 🥚🍳🥗 Need: * 1-2 6-cup non-stick muffin pans * 12 eggs * 1/2 onion * 1/2 bell pepper * Coconut cooking spray * Fajita seasoning * Greens of choice * Shredded cheese Prep: * Crack dozen eggs into large bowl and blend; add 2 tsp fajita seasoning * Chop greens (easier to stuff into cups - I used baby spinach, kale & chard for this batch) * Dice onion, bell pepper * Spray muffin tins with coconut oil * Fill each cup about 2/3rds with egg, add onion, bell pepper and chopped greens and poke down into egg mix with a spoon to cover the veggies * Top with a little shredded cheese and dust with remaining fajita seasoning Cook: * 16-20 mins @ 375 ( Breville convection oven...ymmv, obviously) * When tops are toasty and puffed up like a soufflé, pop out of tins and let cool on a cookie rack before storing Eat! ____ #food #recipes #keto #highfatlife #protein&pancakes #waroncarbs #fatforfuel ____ #mindpump #braintrain #crossfit #mindfulness #books #dailyhabits #strength #muscle #conditioning #power #savage #powerlifting #bodybuilding #training #fitness #fitlife #MAPS #anabolic #liftheavythings #deadliftforlife (at Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium)
