"Christ, man," said Ed, from under a mass of silk pillows. "And you gave this up to go live on a dirty old ship? You're a fucking fool."
Oneshot where Mary and Doug host Stede and the crew in their vacation home. The crew meets the family. Stede gets the lowdown on his own funeral. The kids are way too interested in Blackbeard’s violent history. Ed experiences a nice mattress for the first time. Doug teaches an art seminar. Mary and Ed bond over wine. Everyone tries to catch fireflies. Ed and Stede are in love and not subtle about it.
