Yes yes yes!!! As an asexual person, it drives me mad how disrespected aro, ace, and aroace labels are. Because if you don't respect a fictional character's identity, chances are you won't do that to an actual person.

This is a personal pet peeve, and disclaimer I'm completely fine with shipping, I also loathe when every single connection has to be viewed as alloromantic and/or allosexual. Soulmates can and are also fully platonic.
