I met the extraordinary producer#jerryweintraub when I was 16 years old and he gave me a role in #troopbeverlyhills which changed the course of my career. Or maybe more aptly allowed me to have one. The film on which I earned enough to realize I may actually support myself DOING WHAT I LOVED. This was a revelatory moment. And even as a teenager, I was taken with how magnanimous he was. Our next significant encounter began less than a year ago when I had the honor of working with him again on#thebrink for #hbo . He remained as magnanimous, energetic, and inspired as he had been when I first met him. And he remembered our previous experience as if it was yesterday. The idea that he is no longer on this planet seems somehow inconceivable to me. So, in the spirit of his no bullshit, straight up awesomeness, I will simply say: You will be missed deeply Jerry.
