Gay kids and trans kids just shut your mouths when ace people talk. The moment they were allowed a voice over our own was the moment they won. Ace discourse is a hopeless battle it’s lost, but if you just shut your mouths you won’t be subjected to physical and sexual violence, if you just shut up and let them have what they want you’ll still have some kind of access to potentially life saving resources. It’s better to silence yourself but still be alive. It doesn’t make you any less of a being.
