Under the canopy of night, the thief waits

Another pixel reimagining of fan art I've done! this is the one where I started to begin seeing that I had a unique style. It also changed (for the better) how I drew eyes. I drew all my life and even have a degree in art, but I fell off the wagon of 2D drawing for a decade after art school. The school knocked the wind out of me, then I had someone very close to me who actively discouraged me. I never learned digital art, so I started making the very painful journey up the learning curve around 2021. It's been encouraging to re-share my art this way!

My OC with Thief King Bakura. Because why not? My cousin colored and did the background because I hate coloring. I drew them. ^_^

Zarra is a mage. Her ka is one with her soul, so her body suffers with the magic it holds. She ran away from Kul Elna before the massacre. She had an abusive family. A rough life overall. She learns about what happened and she runs into this lunatic. She may or may not have seen all the red flags. Or maybe it’s SOS flares. Either way she’s wild anyways. A terrifying duo who synergies with volatile vengeance.
