Isn’t that from a 10K+ years old book ?
Just pondering about my thoughts.
The only way to be excellent is to be endlessly fascinated by doing the same thing over and over. You have to fall in love with boredom.
Anyone can work hard when they feel motivated. It's the ability to keep going when work isn't exciting that makes the difference.
-James Clear
Who am I to judge others? Who am I to excuse my self by pointing at another's wickedness, weaknesses and sin?
I am no better than anyone else.
All of us fall short--never able to perfectly obey God. We may act it, say it, think of it but deep down in that sick heart, we are proud, self-righteous, indifferent, full of self.
We do, we speak, we live to impress and thus please ourselves. And God? Left out, nowhere to be seen because the glory is ours for a fleeting moment.
May our life's story be not this bland & blurry.

Ecclesiastes 5 : 10
Those who love money will never have enough. How meaningless to think that wealth brings true happiness!
Ecclesiastes 6 : 9
Enjoy what you have rather than desiring what you do not have. Just dreaming about nice things is meaningless--like chasing the wind.
Ecclesiastes chapter two verses twenty four to twenty six...
How come that the Teacher discusses the futility of pleasure and work on the first part of chapter two then ended it as if contradicting his former arguments and concluding otherwise?
I trust that there is so much more to these verses...to this book of the Bible.
How I wish to hear the explanation from the Teacher firsthand; from the depth of his heart accompanied by his hard-earned experiences and anchored in the very wisdom of his infinitely wise Creator.
Challenge completed. Late post. Haha
Ecclesiastes 1:12-18 (The Teacher speaks: The futility of Wisdom)
Seriously, even wisdom is pointless??
Chasing the wind is madness. The wind is real, it's there, we just don't know how, but why would a reasonable & sane man chase it?
The Teacher compared this madness to that of pursuing to learn everything, exploring and understanding everything being done under heaven. To devote human life for this cause of chasing to be omniscient or close to it (fueled not just by mere curiosity but surely by pride), even though we're not clueless that it's innately impossible because of our limited being...yes it's all real madness like chasing the wind. -MACCayas
