Just A Few More Hours...

As I listened to reputation on the way to and from work today, I remembered just how much it truly affected me for the first time. As a fan since White Horse, I became a warrior stan with this album lol.

All my life 😂 I felt I had to fight the haters in my friends group and beyond to defend her honor during the great sabbatical. Then when rep finally dropped and we got lyricism that spoke about how happy she was, how she regretted nothing and would do it again 💪🏾 and how she never felt more strong and secure, she gave that same strength to me.

Her words have always had an emotional impact on my life however this album took a hold of me like my second fav Red did and refused to let go. The words were ingratiated so deep, I would use them as responses to any sad attempts at a put down or hateful comment and walk away before a response was uttered because I had already won.

As I enter this new era filled with increased content to devour, a happier and joyful aesthetic to enjoy and what is shaping to be another emotional journey to traverse, I am so thankful and I hope me and everyone else experiencing this calm before the storm about to erupt will continue spreading the L😍ver vibes 😘
