So, I know this has been done on YouTube at least once, but I used bkh0 and it sounded really soft, so I used it to make kind of like a soft append in the beginning. The rest is just resampler after the beginning verse.UST: nmasao (?)

Thank you for the idea whitetail-music
Hey, how long has it been since I shared one of my covers here ? Probably too long. lol
Here is a cover of Song Of Eared Robot made using Defoko
UST by Skyisland21 (I think)
another track distorting defoko’s voice samples. It’s complete nonsense she’s singing.
marz mitzi ft. Defoko - TODAY
At the other end of the room, a shadowy figure of android took a moment to adjust her sleeves before returning to busily typing away at a station filled with computer screens. Illuminated only by the monitor's pale blue glow in the dimly-lit laboratory, she turned to face the stasis pod as the glass cover slid open, a warm smile curling the corners of her lips once she recognized who was inside. "Ahhh, Utane! You're finally awake, I see?"
"Yes, good morning." She stepped out of the pod, adjusting her tie. Several programs ran in the back of her head, including at least three sets of diagnostic programs, and then a facial recognition program, and her voice program running. "… Oto, correct? My recognition perameters are correct, yes?" She tilted her head, flatly speaking her query.

"Ah, yes… Indeed, Thusfar, everything seems to be working as intended. Though, I suppose installing a humor drive couldn’t hurt any." She jokingly suggested with a flick of her tail. Clapping her hands together only once, she signaled the protective metal sheet to slide up into the roof compartment again, flooding the room with light.
Though, for a split second, Oto’s eyes seemed incredibly distant before her mouth curled up into a nonchalant grin. “Say, speaking of the ‘full range of emotional responses’, I think it’s high time for a bonus test, what do you say?” Swiping up her hand in a swift movement, she made an attempt to remove the android’s hat. “Oop! Haha, you got a little speck of dust, there… let me get that for you.”
With the remark about her sense of humor, Utane just rolled her eyes, accidentally looking straight up into the light that flooded into the room. The purplette turned her gaze downward. It's not like she would have gone blind, but it wasn't pleasant to stare straight into the light. Mostly because when she did that, data in her visual sensors would muck up and she'd sometimes get off colours.
Regardless, she had managed to look down just as the other android went to remove her hat, and went to knock Oto's hand away. The next thing she knew, the hat was laying on the floor.

"Inde—" Oto quirked an eyebrow, taking a moment to look down at her own H.U.D.. Was this some sort of joke set up by the creators of the new testing program? Eh. oh, well. "…Alright! Next, your final test for now, I am going to need you to send a message through the same channel that picture was sent through. Your choice of text." She nodded, almost seeming to look like she was holding back a giggle.
Utane nodded, and began to go through her H.U.D. to send a message. The message she sent read like this: "The messaging program is successful, correct?" She obviously had no sense of humor, as always.
Regardless, the purple android began to make stretching motions, to test her range of movement. Flatly, she said the results of her diagnostics programs. "All systems functioning at full capacity. Joints are in prime condition. No damage reported. Signal levels are at five of five bars. AI responses register a full range of emotional responses."
She then shifted her weight, shrugging. "I suppose I've installed some new expression motion data. I got a lot of software updates to go with new hardware, huh?"

The purple crosshairs faded out, and Utane’s usual hospitable and serene look came back to her face as she got out of her offensive stance. She took a second to dust herself off, and adjust her hat. “I am feeling fine. There’s no issues that I’ve noticed, aside from… the entirety of the “ear” part of my headset is slightly sensitive now. Not the same way the antennae are, but… Not nice to get tapped or flicked. I’ll chalk it up to new hardware,” she closed one eye, shrugging and shifting her weight toward the left; another atypically expressive motion for the usually hard-to-read android.
"Ah, that… might be a fault on my part…I’ll try not to tap it in the future. Though, if you want me to notify it to the technicians, I can. Speaking of antennae, this next test will see how well you can send and receive signals. By default, you should be already able to connect with other members of the UTAU project." Oto blinked, a series of 1s and 0s scrolling over her left eye. "Please tell me when you see the cat, and read the message beneath it when visible."
A faux reflection appeared on the purplette's amethyst coloured eyes when it appeared on her H.U.D. She looked at Oto, giving a small nod with a blank expression. Calmly, as if she didn't get that it might be misconstrued as funny, she spoke. "I am a pretty kitty."

Oto yelped slightly as she heard the shot fire. Man, why did THIS have to be part of her job department? Couldn’t they have just built another bot for this job? Was she missing any fingers? Slowly lowering the paddle, she was amazed to find that there was a still-sizzling hole where a patch of the thick rubber once was. “Haa!~ Very good! I suppose we won’t even have to run the vision test, eh? You seem to be rather confident with your work, uh— judging by your… stance!” She chuckled nervously, realizing she had almost forgot how intimidating the crystallized glare of an utauloid in combat mode could be. “Alright! You can turn off combat mode now! Your motors also seem to be capable of moving at quick speeds, which is good… though, I am still required to ask under the Board of Tomorrow’s rules, how are you feeling now?”

"First—!" Utane raised her hand up, abruptly, to halt the operation. "I need to ask. Will this Bulletime feature reduce my battery power faster than normal? It’s important for me be able to gauge my power, so that I know when I have to return to my pod or when I need to begin consuming food." She scratched at her cheek, as if to indicate a slight nervousness about the topic at hand. It was an oddly expressive gesture for her.
Already at the start of her swing, the catgirl paused, blinking and letting out a noise of confusion. “Not a drastic drain, but— Bulletime should most certainly be used in moderation. Keep a good eye on your battery level, and you should be fine. For now, we have decided that we shall limit the Bulletime feature to only be used for a few seconds at a time, even though it might feel like ten seconds to you. To.. answer your question briefly, yes. There is indeed a little bit of increased power drainage. Though, that is to be expected when you overclock your system…” she scratched her chin, soon returning back to her starting position. “Ready now? One… two… three!” With that, she swung the paddle up…
Activating Bulletime, Utane waited for the few seconds it took for the paddle to reach 12 o' clock, and shot the green dart, dead on the mark; she'd hit the center of the circle. To the unmodified eye, she moved as if there were no calculation or thought to it, an instant reaction at that last second. In sort, not one movement was wasted.

Oto’s own mismatched orbs narrowed, a sheet of dark metal descending from the ceiling to shield the mass of computers behind her. “Very well. Next, we have installed a rather interesting pair of tools that you might find useful. First, in your wrist compartment, we have installed a small— but very powerful laser that can be used for slicing or shooting, your choice. Next, you have a very special new application titled bulletime, dubbed after a trademark of one of my favorite movies. Though, that’s not what’s important.”
"Bulletime will speed up your internal clock, causing everything else around you to appear to slow down. While you yourself cannot stop time, this altered perception in brief spurts shall help to enhance your reflex time. In combination with your lock-on target mode, you will also be able to make a precise shot in the case of an emergency. Now, I am going to swing this paddle in a wide arc over my head, and I want you to shoot the green end. Not to worry, for I have plenty spares for future tests." She finished her instructions her uniform flickered with the pattern of a hexagonal grid. Her shield system was now active. "On the count of three, I want you to activate the bullet time command, and fire once my arm is at 12 o’ clock above my head. Ready?"
"One…two…three!"
"First—!" Utane raised her hand up, abruptly, to halt the operation. "I need to ask. Will this Bulletime feature reduce my battery power faster than normal? "I hope it’s not too distracting, but… if you want to stop and enjoy the view of the world for a while, you may press the button again to switch your HUD off." The catgirl went off for a moment, soon retrieving what seemed to be a paddle with a bright green end. "Now! The first test! I’ll need you to look directly at this green circle, and think the words loud and clear, 'target mode!' Of course, you aren’t required to say it out loud, for that would be silly. So, go on! Give it a try!”
Utane nodded, eyes narrowing— her eyes assumed the same, almost foreign looking coldness as they did whenever she went into combat mode before.
Two lavendar circles zeroed in on the green one, before both of them flickered out, the space between them turning into another purple circle, turning into a crosshair. “Initial booting is successful. Further directions, Oto?”

"Everything seems to be in order, actually. Thank you." She nodded her head gently, with a serene look on her face. As the green-haired android circled her, the calm look that lay across her features simply followed the other around.
Once the visual checkup was complete and the emeraldette was standing in front of Defoko once more, she nodded, wearing that same bright grin of hers as always. “Alright! Everything seems to be good! Now, as required by the board of tomorrow, I need to run a few tests!” Oto lifted a hand up to her headset, giving it a little tap. “But first, we’ve installed a brand new feature that shall act as both your HUD and UI! Could you please press in the first button on your left earphone closest to your front?” She requested, reaching a hand out to prod at the device attached to the other girl’s head.
Utane flinched at the tapping of her headsets. It was like when a human would knock their elbow and hit the 'funny bone'. It was an unpleasant experience when it wasn't done too carefully, seemed like. New hardware, she decided, was the cause of it.
The purplette nodded, and pressed the first button on the appropriate side. "... There." Onto the violet android's optics, a purple frame flickered on. For a few seconds, there was a loading bar, before various little things such as the battery level, CPU and current time coming into view.
