Why do you want to be broken?

Bogs are anaerobic, meaning they lack oxygen, this is caused by the peat mosses, which create the (soft plush) structure of a bog. Peat prevents bacterial growth and decomposition. Bogs are uniquely acidic with low temperatures.
Due to this acidity, the calcium in bone dissolves. The peat moss releases tannins, and a compound called sphagnan. These tannins and sphagnan act as preservatives. They turn human skin brown and tans it like leather. Thousands of years after a body finds itself in peat, they are preserved. Perfectly preserved is the skin, hair, nails, and internal organs. Even hundreds of years following death, scientists can analyze stomach contents and know their last meal.
Wouldn't it be romantic for our bodies to be found curled around each other? Like the lovers of Pompeii, you could never be removed from my arms. Bog bodies are known to be so well preserved that some appear as if they are only napping. If our bodies were exumed from a bog, laying to rest with one another for thousands of years, it'd be undeniable that our love is immortal.
