Hello omg i'm so into your art style! Can i ask what effect you used to do that halftone on your recent erisol piece? It looks like it's value based

its pretty simple, i converted the image to greyscale, turned it into a smart object and added a color halftone filter. after that i just added a blue gradient map. i used photoshop for that but you can do it in a bunch of other software, really

The erisol zine we’ve been working on since summer is finally live!

My first ever zine that I organized and which would not be possible without the help of @its-wwhatevver and the talented artists and writers from the erisol discord server.

I would love it if you check out our zine, it has over a 100 pages of fanfiction and drawings. A lot of love, effort and tears were put into it, from handwritten graphics to carefully drawn and individually placed page numbers.

The zine comes in both digital version and printable version.

I dunno if anyone has asked but what supplies do you use for your traditional art?? The markers seem so smooth and don’t make ur pens bleed on ur art,,,i just adore ur traditional stuff waaagh

HII ok so honestly i dont use anything fancy!! the ones you'll see me use the most are Paper Mate's Flair markers. They are very cheap, a little set of four is around 7 bucks, and you can get a good amount of line variety with them imo. They will bleed easily with water tho. lately ive been using zebra mildliners too but still prefer the paper mate markers. Aside from that i just use regular uni-ball pens (mostly the 0.5 and 0.8mm ones)

OK i forgot to say, but for color (even tho i dont use much in my sketchbooks) i use letraset promarkers. they dont smudge or bleed cause theyre alcohol based and they work well with the paper mate markers
