i haven’t been able to get on for the last couple of days because i’m not preparing for the operation! i’ll probably be gone for another week or so, i’m so sorry everyone.

     Why, how lovely. It was rather rare seeing another newcomer stroll their way. It was not at all unusual to see someone of another sea or from another place catch themselves lost in the deep red of the sea of death. From his view, the lonely woman seemed to know her way around the sea and what it had to offer. 

     It was quite interesting to view such a lonely woman stroll her way through a land of despair. Why, perhaps she might not know and is trying her best to keep herself from being scared? Or perhaps it could’ve been a mere dare by own youthful friends to take a stroll down the Sea of Death. Either way, someone must be polite and introduce her to the horrors of the deep blue.

     Optics belonging to the shark himself stared outwards through the red of the sea as the shark began his way towards the isolated, and from the mere looks of it, beautiful woman.

     The original plan of the outsider was to not make a mess or a ruckus in the sea she wasn’t part of, but it was easily interrupted as the serpent she was tailing turned aggro. It was easily taken care of, but now more red was added to the waters. Sure, it wasn’t all that noticeable, but now the two halves of the snake was floating around. Oh well, what happens, happens.

     Feeling a shadow looming over her from behind, the oni turned around and was met by white, a very unfitting color for this sea. How was it not getting stained? A mystery, truly. Taking a step back, she had raised her head to see who it was, a shark it seemed. Most likely another resident of this sea from what she can gather, someone important.

     Kuchica didn’t feel uneasy nor disturbed by his smile, she had seen and received much worse in her times on land, beholders of said smiles didn’t live to see another day unfortunately. “Hello.”

     The walk she was taking through the foggy path wasn’t all that eventful, she hadn’t met anyone yet to ask if she was pretty, it was terribly boring. Maybe the news about her being there finally reached some outside people, but she was sure that she didn’t let anyone escape for that to happen. Well, she was only half-sure. She got confused with some of the people because of their silly replies to her question.

     Well, whatever. She’ll just continue to walk along the path, and think about what she’ll do when she gets home. Maybe cook some food, she hasn’t ate in a while, actually. Yeah, food, that’d be nice.

He chuckled. “Yeah, yeah… Keep thinking about your trees then…”

He stopped too, turning around to face her again. “The castle…? That’s where I work… We can probably go there if you want… I could get you in…”

     As a passive aggressive attempt to counter his sentence, she does continue to think of the dead tree, and many other trees. Take that, silly goat demon. Well, she was technically the one in the joke here, but still.

     “It looks really pretty.” She’d be delighted to be enter the castle, actually. She’s never been inside a castle, or any form of house that was as big as it. No one ever really wanted her in their houses, but it was most likely because she usually tried to cut them in half with her scissors.

     “That’s just what you think, Envi.” In all honesty, she didn’t think trees had any feelings or soul either, she just wanted to mess with his mindset. She always did that with people, it had always given her entertainment.

     Kuchica was silent for a few moments, stopping mid-walk as she looked down at her feet. She did see something when she was walking around, but she doubts that she was allowed there. “I saw, a very pretty castle.” It was the only thing she could see before, and she tried making way to it, but to no avail.

“Hm…? Are you looking at that tree…? You shouldn’t be sad about it… Everything and everyone dies at some point in time… No use grieving about some stupid tree…”

“Traveling with you…? I should think about that… I want to get to know you better first…”

     Yes, that was understandable, that he wanted to get to know her first. It was only reasonable. She really didn’t like opening up to people, or talking to people in general, but if this guy can be her ticket to travel to other worlds, she may just give it a try.

     She nods, at both of his sentences. Everything and everyone has an ending point, she knew it very well. “Yes, no use being sad, but don’t call the tree, stupid. That’s very mean.”

He saw that she had trouble keeping up with his fast walking speed. He sighed and slowed down a bit. “I know, I know…. I walk too fast…”

“Well… About exploring… I can’t blame you… I like to do it too from time to time… Going to other world is fun… But I don’t get to do it very often anymore… I’m too busy working… So I can’t…”

     Not bothering to even complain about the way he walks, she simply nods slightly as she enjoys the much more slower pace, looking around once more, seeing a dead tree in a distance. Poor, dead tree. Maybe if it gotten enough care, it would’ve lived and grew leaves.

     “When you get, a day off, if you even, get those, you should travel.” She pauses with her sentence, averting her gaze to look up at him. “Maybe, take me with you, too.” She really likes traveling.

“I don’t care if I’m not scary… But I’m also not supposed to be seen as an adorable creature that you can just pet, you know…? I wouldn’t even allow someone to pet me… That would be awful…”

“You seem to be really interested in what’s behind me… Let’s go…” He started to walk in that direction already, not really caring if she also could keep up with the fast pace he always walked in.

     The other was walking a bit too fast for her, and she had to jog slightly to catch up to his pace. How inconsiderate of him, really, couldn’t he see that she was much smaller and had much stubbier legs. “I just, like exploring.”

     She didn’t attempt to make anymore small talk as they walked (she jogged) around the dark place, her eyes gazing everywhere she deemed interesting, but that was hard because everything was so dark. How can everyone see where they’re going in the place? Truly a mystery.
